People are disappearing at alarming rates and there is an overall feeling of uneasiness over wizarding society. As the world prepares to go to war, things in Hogwarts continue on as usual. Prefects are chosen, Quidditch is played and the usual teenage drama allows it’s self to unfold. As 2005 draws to a close, the Wizarding World's in danger of finding out first-hand what the consequences of that might be. It's getting harder every day for the Ministry to protect its citizens from exposure and the old tried-and-true methods haven't kept pace with muggle advancements. Without hard work, sacrifice and maybe a miracle or two, life as everybody knows it is doomed to change forever and they're running out of time to stop it.   There are those who don't believe revealing magic to muggles would be such a terrible thing, however. Among them is a shadowy new group whose methods are unknown but whose motives have recently become clear. They want the Statute of Secrecy overturned, regardless of the consequences, and they aren't willing to wait forever. They've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand and although they seem unwilling to break the masquerade themselves, nobody knows if or when that might change.   If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all. The space race has begun, the civil rights movement is just beginning, Andy Warhol is ushering in a time of art and philosophy for the next generation. It's not just minorities, and women fighting to be accepted, there are mutants as well. Most hidden, some making their presence known in the most destructive of ways. The government has had to step in, hoping that forming their own team of heroes it will help calm public opinion. The X Men and Excalibur are hardly more than a rumor. Secret teams that have shown up and disappeared with the same mystery. The Brotherhood, on the other hand, is very well known, but hard to find. Destiny is so much more than a word, it's something to work for, to fight for, to grab with both hands. The world is moving forward, you can either move with it, or be left behind. We are a Marvel based game that allows members to play their favorite characters, original and canon, and play in a time period wrought with conflict, history, and plenty of drama! Flexible enough in our premise that members can play their favorite version of their characters.
