Some aren’t however. Augustus Rookwood is one of those not happy in this world and the former death eater begins to make plans to make his own world, his ideal world. Taping into dark and forbidden magic that will bend both dimension and time, Rookwood begins collecting the citizens for this new world. Wizard and witches of his choosing who are not merely from the era he comes from, but others-both ancient and into distant future. Whether these wizard and witches want to live in this world isn’t his concern. There are so many questions though. Where is this place? What day is it? What country are they in? Howard Stark is a man who was born ahead of his time. Two Futurists – two men of science with visions of a better world the world around them does not seem ready for. Charles Xavier earned Ph.Ds in genetics, biophysics, psychology, and anthropology, and an M.D. in psychiatry. He is the foremost authority on matters of genetics, mutation, and psionic ability, and is extraordinarily skilled in other areas of science, as well. Arguably the world’s most powerful telepath, Xavier is also a skilled physical combatant. All of these gifts have been directed toward one purpose – engendering a world, through education, where homo sapiens and homo superior can peacefully co-exist. In 2007, Xavier opened the doors of his former family home and founded the Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters. Here, young mutants would be taught to explore and control their powers in an environment of acceptance and support, settled in picturesque Westchester County, New York. Howard Stark is a billionaire, a brilliant inventor, and a genius, years ahead of his time. Sons and fathers became brothers, professors became fellow students, and even Hogwarts founders became mere heads of house as time collapsed in on itself compressing different points in time over a thousand years. All were unaware. All thought it was how it had always been. Fractured Fate is a Multi-Gen Harry Potter game set in a compressed and paradoxed time line. Time unraveled and tried to repair itself and when it did things got very strange. Crescendo [03 Nov 2011|08:44pm] It's 1981. Voldemort is on the rise. Death Eaters roam free. Hundreds have died or disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope seems lost, that is until a Prophecy is made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child will bring an end to Voldemort's reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he could grow into a threat. We all know the story, little Harry Potter is that child, his parent's die to protect him, the Dark Lord falls, Sirius Black is sent to prison, The Longbottoms are tortured to insanity, dozens more die, and the survivors are left broken. But let's not get further into that, because we all know that story. Because, what if the story had a different outcome? What if you had a chance to re-write canon? Decide who lives? Who dies? Who wins the war? What if you could re-write history? Here is your chance! Crescendo is an AU Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1981, when the war is in full swing.
