The Crescent City Institute of Magic is one of the best schools for Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States. Located in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, it has had its fair share of tragedy for such a praised and respected school. First was hurricane Katrina, which rocked New Orleans to its core, and the death of the headmaster as he helped the students evacuate.
This past school year has proved itself to be dramatic, interesting, and terrifying. Like any high school, CCI has had its fair share of petty drama caused by students along with the ups and downs of boarding school life. But there are other, darker, things to worry about.
Students have gone missing and creatures never known before have been spotted and attacked students. There are activists out in the streets of New Orleans trying to alert Muggles to the presence of evil Witches and Wizards. There is also a strange epidemic of missing socks.
This school year is almost finished, but this is only just the beginning.

RESUMPTION: a life interrupted to begin again
A Harry Potter RPG
Post the Second Wizarding War, many are content to go forward with their lives. Some aren’t however. Augustus Rookwood is one of those not happy in this world and the former death eater begins to make plans to make his own world, his ideal world.
Taping into dark and forbidden magic that will bend both dimension and time, Rookwood begins collecting the citizens for this new world. Wizard and witches of his choosing who are not merely from the era he comes from, but others-both ancient and into distant future. Whether these wizard and witches want to live in this world isn’t his concern.
There are so many questions though. Where is this place? What day is it? What country are they in? Why are there others that they don’t know or recognize but who know intimate details about their lives? This world is full of mysteries about the village and... experiments keep appearing out of nowhere.
You are at the mercy of the council.

Have you ever had a desire to take a much loved character, toss them out of their normal environs, just to see what would happen? Get them into situations that in their home "canon" would never be possible? Give them a chance to shine, in ways they normally never have the opportunity? Then come join us!
We are a multi-fandom rp, most stories set in the FFVII world, though there are options for other settings. We are Yaoi/Yuri/Het/gender bender/Mpreg friendly, and are willing to discuss other content you may have a desire to bring in. We are darker themed, for the most part. NC- 17 very much welcome, but is not mandatory, and there WILL be sections for PG/R rated RP if asked for. Character death/torture very much allowed, but MUST be discussed and approved by those involved.
Plot is open, and the one who has created the plot for a particular rp story will be allowed to maintain creative control, as "storyteller", of that story. That does not however mean they are allowed to control the characters, simply the plot itself. Multiples of 'taken' chars are allowed, but must be in different RP's, unless there is reason to be mingled. There may occasionally be Shota, if that bothers you, you may avoid those stories. We allow for and encourage 'surprises', as long as they do not involve something drastic to another char, or a drastic change to the plot of someone else's story. OCs ARE allowed.
All in all, our basic motto is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Communication, and courtesy, and we want to provide a decent and friendly atmosphere for our players.

All on Earth, and all without their Powers...a massive Cosmic event of unknown origin, known as the Black Nova, has stripped all the heroes of their mighty powers, and left the bad guys untouched. Not a very good omen, and those of good must now go into hiding and seclusion all across the globe, secretly meeting to find a way back to power.
Before it's too late for all.
But that's much easier said than done.
There are many that want nothing of the sort to ever happen, and that includes various Earth factions and rogue elements that would love to ally with darkness, to see none of the protectors of the Earth to ever rise again. They will resort to murder, mass and otherwise, and worse, to accomplish this.
