There has always been magic in the world. It enters during periods of great destruction, sneaking into the world when humans are unaware. Most humans can't see magic. It is protected by the Delirium, a veil of thought that keeps ordinary people from seeing what they don't comprehend. The unicorn they saw walking down the street? "It was a white horse." The ghost in the living room? "A trick of the light." That man who vanished in thin air? "Mirrors." There are a few who are able to see past the Delirium. They find themselves drawn together as magic calls to itself. Two factions have formed--the Mages, those who bend magic to their will, and the Witchfinders, those who are determined to control magic and protect humans from experiencing it. The Witchfinders have been successful in pushing magic back for years. But as centuries have passed and science taken hold, the faction lost its power. As a result, it weakened. From the Daily Prophet; 2025-08-22 A Day of Victory For He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named Last night was marked by a glorious event, greatly anticipated by all obedient citizens of the Wizarding World. Led by His Infinite Wisdom, two of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's loyal followers finally completed the crucial task necessary to crush the opposition and carry out the ultimate justice. Leader of the resistance and traitor to the Wizarding World, Harry Potter was killed during capture by Chief of Wizengamot Bellatrix Lestrange and Lilith Lestrange, wife of Mr. Rabastan Lestrange. The body of Mr. Potter will be available for public viewing in the atrium of the Ministry as proof of justice's supreme victory. Premise Harry Potter is dead - killed by Bellatrix Lestrange and his own daughter, now married to Rabastan Lestrange. The war, however, despite Voldemort's propaganda, is far from over. Hidden within the safety of Hogwarts, the Order of the Phoenix keeps resisting Voldemort and his Death Eaters. It's the third war, started by a spell no one understands... In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding. On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance. For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike. Welcome to the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, a sleepy little town in Central Florida, located halfway between Orlando and Daytona Beach. Known as 'America's Psychic Town', Cassadaga really is so much more. It is a place where people live, learn and work with the realm of the spirit world. It takes years of training to become a certified Medium or a Spiritual Healer, and it is taken very seriously. Tourists come from far and wide to experience a reading or a healing, and to possibly spot an orb over Spirit Pond, or a ghost at night. The town's mediums work directly with the spirits. Tarot readings, Reiki, accupuncture, palm readings and the like are found at the hotel and at a small handful of shops across the main street. The town is very small, less than sixty acres. It has a post office, an old haunted hotel, a temple complete with a seance room in the back, a bookstore with a meeting hall, a few shops across the street, and several homes that were built over a hundred years ago. The atmosphere is very tranquil, and worlds away from the stresses of modern life. Once you experience it, you will never forget it. The hotel's cafe only serves lunch, and only four days a week. The nearest police station and fire department are in Lake Helen, the next town over: think of it as where Mayberry meets The Twilight Zone. In the graveyard just outside of town is a chair called the Devil's Chair. Many have said if one sits in it, they have sold their soul to the devil. What they don't know is, some of the residents of Cassadaga have made a deal with the cursed chair to stay young and alive. In return, they keep Cassadaga running and the restless spirits that were cursed to remain there by an Indian tribe that resided there before the town was claimed by its founder. More info... Wanda Maxinoff went insane when she had found out that she couldn't have children and started to play with realties where she could. Magneto worked with Charles Xaiver and Dr. Strange to help cure Wanda of the delusions she was having but she was starting to become very, very dangerous. Meanwhile Charles Xaiver and the X-Men called a meeting with the Avengers to talk about possibly killing Wanda to save the world. There was a lot of arguing but in the end they did agree on killing Wanda, unfortunately Quicksilver overheard the whole conversation and ran back to warn Wanda convincing her to create a universe where Mutants were in control and the family Magnus ruled supreme. The world went white and no one at all remembered what life was like before this utopia was created except for Wolverine and Layla Miller. What if Wolverine and Layla Miller never came to the conclusion that there was something wrong? What if they never went around waking people up from this wonderful mutant utopia where the House of Magnus ruled? Our goal is to bring the 'old GJ feeling' back.
