City of Hills is an aim and thread friendly play by (PB)/city based community set in San Francisco, California. Writers of this community are promised to have control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, the mod(s) will not worry about how much of whatever is going around; especially considering this is a city wide based game. If things get out of hand, the game will address the issue(s) as a whole then. Members of this community have a voice with us and their opinions and suggestions are always validated and taken into high consideration. We also will provide a lot of interactive opportunities for characters. All play by (PB) types welcome. |

Summer news has been filled with heated debate over the sanity of Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore. The ministry has denied any claims of a new rise to power by You-Know-Who. Cedric Diggory's death has been painted as a tragic accident.
Dumbledore has called together a select group of wizards and witches to being mounting a resistance, whilst Death Eaters have begun gathering once more.
Changes are about to come to Hogwarts. The Ministry has decided to begin a series of reforms, starting with the appointment of Dolores Umbridge as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. The tides are starting to turn. War is on the horizon.
Lines will be drawn this year. Which side are you on?

Werewolf attacks have become the stuff of everyday life for much of Wizarding Britain, an ancient spell cast by Slytherin himself is bringing the dead back to life, and a certain Dark Lord seems intent on conquering the world again... Harry Potter, the Head of the Aurors, has his Department fighting back with around the clock patrols and Hit Wizards are busier than ever before, but even with extra security, is the world safe?
How long will the tension build? How much can those who saved the world take? How far can the wizarding world be pushed before it reaches its breaking point?

A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.
Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.
The year is 1865 and you are invited to come and join us.
