It all began with the three Halliwell sisters. Six months after the death of their grandmother they found out that they were meant for more than the day to day jobs they had. They were witches, they were the Charmed ones. Foretold be their ancestor Melinda Warren before she was burned at the stake during the Salem witch trials. Together these three sisters would face the forces of evil. Though not all battles had happy endings. There power almost died with the loss of the eldest of the three, Prue. But still when one door closes another one opens. The two remaining sisters learned about another sister, Paige, who would complete the trinity once more. With her they would vanquish the Source (several times). And they would stand together to defeat the original Ultimate Power and the Triad.
After the fall of the Ultimate Power, the Charmed Ones were able to retire to live normal lives and look forward to being parents. Piper finally started the restaurant that she was dreaming of for all those years, Phoebe would continue working as a columnist and became an acclaimed novelist as well, and Paige joined the staff at magic school to teach the new generation of witches and whitelighters. It is now up to the next generation of magic to protect the world, and with the rise of a new Source and his government, it ought to get interesting....
It has been twenty some years since the Charmed ones were called to fight against the forces of evil. They have all been living life with their families. Almost normal, mortal lives until now. The year is 2028 and the call for the forces of good to join together has come. It is the next generations turn to fight the evil that surfaces from the underworld. There is a new Source who had been in power since the vanquishing of the Triad. The Source growing into power with the support of a shadow group that had come into light after the vanquishing the dark forces of both the previous Source and the Triad. Something far more darker than what has already played out in the past.
The group called the Syndicate led by one, Damian Slade, has been recruiting witches of any size, shape, and, allegiance. Anyone who seemed to have even the clearest showing of mystical promise. Either doing what is needed to make sure that; that power the witches controlled was under a very tight thumb of Slade or going about the eradication of anyone who isn't willing to convert to their side.
