There are many reasons to take an island vacation. There's nice weather, fruity drinks with fancy umbrellas and swords, and hammocks swaying gently in the breeze. The things you don't think of are the insects, mermaids, and all that pesky magic. It seems that you can hardly curse at a stray cannonball from the eternal pirates on the beautiful tempestuous ocean without some manner of reaction from the world. Maybe it's just something in the air, or maybe it's that strange man baking bread at all hours of the night. The only way to find out, and get home, is ask around and then ask yourself if this life isn't just a little bit more fun than the one you left behind.
Taste of Magic is a panfandom RPG that takes place on a magical island half a step away from the normal world. All fandoms are welcome, all pups are eagerly greeted with a smile and a cookie. There are buildings to create, a village and underwater city to explore, and, yes, pirates to fight or join.
We are friendly to all manner of adult things. Slash, het, and sexually explicit content are allowed. We are not big on violence or drama.

The year is 1137
Upon the death of Duke William X of Aquitaine, his daughter, Eleanor, was quickly married to King Louis VII of France. Two great families, both descendants of Charlemagne, were united on 25th of July, 1137. Two days later King Louis VI of France perished, leaving the young couple King and Queen of France.
Now the newly weds have to adjust to their new position as well as adjust to marriage. But will the pious Louis who had wanted to become a priest, come to love his wife? Or will Eleanor find herself finding the comfort and love that she lacks in her marriage in the man she her father and she had wanted to marry? Will Eleanor be overpowered by France's greedy hands, losing Aquitaine? Or will she find an inner strength she did not know?
What will happen to the nobles and people of Aquitaine who are accustomed to their rural, though not barbaric ways? Will they adjust to the uniting of France and Aquitaine, or will there be unrest among the barons?
The fate of France and Aquitaine are up to you. Which side will you be on?

In a world where "metahuman" is the PC term for every caped crusader and villainous mastermind, teenage superheroes pose for 17 magazine, and the "bad guys" have a Big Brothers Big Sisters program for recruiting young n'er-do-wells, the line between the superheroes on lunchboxes and the villains on their target practice is most smudged in the city of Denham, where Kapow! takes place. A new RPG looking for members, Kapow! is a game full of creative, crack-filled, super-powered fun. Here are the villains you won't see in DC or Marvel, and the sides of comic book heroes that you never get to see on the page.
