It's a game of unanswered questions. A game of intense interaction. It's quite often too charming for it's own good. It's a game of talented writers written by talented players. It's an original game of authors.
The school of Lowood in the tiny town of Castalian Springs is an intensely private school hidden away near the West Coast. The students and staff of this school are unusual--each of them is the reincarnated soul of a long-dead author. But there's more to the game than that; for some time apparitions have been appearing in the Springs, in the form of characters, places, and items straight from the original stories of these authors.
This RPG has a lively community of friendly players--and talented writers to boot. Play is most frequently done through IM, and there's plenty of room for plot development with literary apparitions. Questions, if not answered by the links above, can be directed to castalianmods@gmail.com. |

August, 1978.
Voldemort is nearly at his full power and if things keep going his way, he will soon have full control. After spending months fighting the Imperius Curse from Lord Voldemort, Minister of Magic, Millicent Bagnold, has completely broken from the Dark Lord’s control, a result of weeks of deception on her part. Aurors nearly caught Voldemort, but three Aurors were killed in the process and now the weakening Department of Magical Law Enforcement is getting desperate for more man-power.
Professor McGonagall’s daughter has been rescued and has been able to identify her captor; Bellatrix Lestrange.
Even with his top follower on the run and his failings with the Minister, Voldemort has something else on his side; the Horcruxes. Having successfully created two, both in safe keeping, he searches for his mother’s locket and the cup of Hufflepuff, to create even more.
Greyback is turning werewolves secretly and plans to break into the Ministry of Magic, when he’s not stalking Remus Lupin’s fiancée, Dorcas Meadowes. When he finds the Aurors assigned to hunt him down, what will be their fates?
Alice Longbottom’s father, responsible for the death of her daughter, has been murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange, but the Ministry only has their eyes set on the Longbottoms and Dumbledore for the culprits.
Lucius Malfoy has proposed a business marriage with Narcissa Black and the two powerful families are about to merge, Hogwarts has a new Defense Against the Dark Arts profess; Death Eater, Matthew Johnson, and the new Auror trainees will soon embark on a journey that will potentially lead them all to their deaths.
Things are just beginning to get interesting.

Yep, things'd be just perfect if that crazy cannibalistic grandfather/uncle/father of ours (it gets confusing with all that inbreeding) hadn't decided he wanted revenge for being locked up a couple of centuries. When you dream, what do you see?
Welcome to Eidolon City - a place of contrasts, where nothing is quite what it seems and everyone has a goal. For some, that goal is simple: survival. For others: to succeed. To climb over the rest and come out on top. To be the next to rule.
Do you have what it takes? Can you take up the challenge? Where will you place yourself, in the fight where the easy path isn't the path of 'good' and 'right' - in a city where two opposing mob families are locked in an eternal battle for supremacy and think nothing of crushing anyone and everyone who gets in their way, no matter who they are. Eidolon City is a new game that opened recently! We are looking for a range of players, but currently we're mostly looking for members of the two mob factions which form the basis of the game! Are you one of us?
Based in PHILADELPHIA, THE LEAGUE is a special kind of force. They're the people that save civilians from harm.
They formed back in 2000, when crime began to skyrocket. Even though they didn't like to fight along side each other at first, they relied on each other when worse came to worse. By 2004, crime has decreased dramatically. Most criminals were afraid to get their asses kicked by THE LEAGUE. In 2006, QUANTUM, one of the notable LEAGUE members, was killed in battle. Even though QUANTUM was killed, no one knew by who or why. Was it a stunt? But it wasn't. Even though the heroes mourned for their comrade, they were afraid on the inside. Was someone after them? Now, in 2009, crime once again hit an all time high.

The mutant gene popped up unexpectedly in 1999 though some would argue it began in 2000. For a while, maybe a year or so this had gone unnoticed but it was only for so long that something so spectacular could go unnoticed. It was in Wisconsin a boy by the name of Sammy Johnson had been spotted flying above his house by one of his neighbors. Immediately the neighbor had done the most logical thing she could do, inform the police. The police investigated, but the boy (and his parents) could not prove anything about this supposed ability of flight. Then, not even a week later a girl was caught turning invisible, another girl was creating acidic poisons with her hands and a newly wed couple was controlling and creating fire. Naturally, the Government had to get involved.
They'd gone to these homes and these families to question them about their abilities, and after much deliberating and time the first mutant hospital was created in 2002. Immediately these people were shipped away to the hospital for testing. The term "mutant" had been coined and was quickly applied to anybody who possessed powers. With the knowledge of these mutants out, the human race was now growing to understand the real term of fear. What were these mutants capable of, what were they going to do to the regular humans that didn't possess these powers? continue

|  | | | [THE NAMELESS CITY] | | Welcome to the Nameless city, the cornerstone of the universe where all manner people of meet, live, love, laugh, cry and die. It is a modern city, similar to any seen in the 21st century with skyscrapers, metro systems, companies, homes, schools, and most important of all, people. | | | [EXPLANATION] | | Nameless city is a panfandom rpg set in a fictional city called Nameless. As stated above, it is the corner stone of the universe. Literally, it exists in every fandom universe and connects them all together. If your character is from is from futuristic world, Nameless might be considered a quaint old fashioned city; if your character is from the past then Nameless would be consider a great advanced metropolis; and if they’re from the present, it’s just like any other city with a bunch of freaks in it.
But how did your character come to this city? That depends on whether they’re alive or dead in their home universe. If they’re alive, they chose to come here for a reason, a reason that is up to you. Did they just want to get away from their old world? Did they need to start again? Did they get a new job? Or did they just feel like a change of scenery? It’s up to you.
Now, if the character is dead that’s a different matter. They arrived in Nameless shortly after they died and woke up in an apartment building nicknamed the Crypt. How they came to be there and who is responsible is a mystery. The only thing these characters have been told is that they’ve been given a second chance and that the next time they die, they stay dead.

Yet To Be Saved RPG
In the south of California there’s a city that apparently had been forgotten by God. It is Venial City. Just to begin with, the city has never had priests, simply because they don’t have any church. Every time someone wants to marry or someone is born, they travel to La Sagrada, a pretty empty and very religious city next to Venial, to receive blessings or perform ceremonies.
God decides the city has been forgotten for way too long and decides to remedy things by sending two of his angels to take care of the population there: Harachel and Machidiel. The problem is the two demons that have been living in the city for years, Typhon and Haborym. Their attempts to bring out the evil in people are working just fine and the angels find themselves responsible for cleaning up the mess the devils have wrought in the lives of the people.
What can the angels do? They find people who are about to die and give them another opportunity to live: they’ll have their second chances and they will live after all, but they’ll be protecting someone else as guardians.
Of course, this is a kept secret from the person being protected. No one wants to know that the angels have given up on them, even for a bigger picture; they wouldn't like to think that they were being watched over by another human being, flawed and imperfect as they were.
the angels have been busy and i'm yet to be saved.
