WOLFIES
A Werewolf RP
Photobucket
PREMISE:

WOLFIES

A battle, a fight for control. The alphas prove themselves. Fighting, struggling for control, wolves live in a dominance driven style. There are those that are old, those who have been around, withstood the test of time, and there are those who are young, eager, and think they know it all. The two clash. Young packs believe they're superior, they believe that they can withstand the test of time, but they're reckless, and the older, more experienced packs prefer to be careful. That's what happened. One pack, no older than twenty years and another pack that was established long ago. The alphas of both packs fought, and the elders triumphed. Now the two have combined for the safety of them all and to preserve themselves.

The elder pack, the members understand the importance of family. They understand that there has to be give and take and that the pack must work together. They understand the importance of hiding, of being unassuming, of not flaunting what they have. They have power, they know more, and they know how to stand the test of time. They want to teach. Though there are definite difficulties that accompany combining two packs, they must find a way to co-exist in a world that is constantly changing.

Family. Family is the center of everything in most civilizations. From a young age children are taught to respect their mothers and fathers. People grow up to get jobs and raise a family of their own. There are murders of ravens, prides of lions, covens of vampires, and packs of wolves...or werewolves. The pack is an essential unit. There are roles within the pack. Roles in a pack are important, everyone pulls their weight and does their part, they are a family.

What happens when the family that you've grown to love and work with changes dynamics and has to find a way to survive in a world of multiple myths where hiding the truth is the only way to survive?

O T H E R S . They walk among us, OBSERVING.
In the beginning, there were only the humans, and, amongst them, a cursed woman. She was a good woman, pure and kind, but wherever she went, misfortune followed her. Whenever she lit a candle, it went out. If she petted a puppy, it died. If she fed a bird from her hand, the bird would fall from it, dead. Children died in the houses she visited, and the power of her curse opened a Vortext of Damnation around her. With it came the first forces of Darkness. Warriors of the Light rose up to fight the darkness, and thus began the battle between the Light and the Dark.
All because one human cursed another.
The battle raged on for centuries, neither side every truly winning. The two sides came to a standstill, and ended up forging a truce. Thus was the Great Treaty formed, and the Inquisition to uphold it. The Light formed the Night Watch to watch over the Dark, and the Dark formed the Day Watch to watch over the Light.
Thus has it been, and thus shall it always be.

Deep within the Canopus System lies the planet, Soter, a world strangely similar to Earth that was abandoned long ago by its original inhabitants. Placed on the black market, the planet was eventually purchased by a eccentric man known only as The Collector. He spent many years restoring the planet's greatest city, Colligo, to its former glory and many intergalactic entrepreneurs believed he intended to turn Colligo into one of the greatest vacation destinations the known galaxy had ever seen.

They were wrong.

Instead, Colligo became The Collector's display case for his personal collection of people. During the time he spent restoring Colligo, he also began selecting worthy specimens to start his collection with and others to be added to it later. These unfortunate people, after having been grabbed from their respective planets, times, and realities, awaken within the Colligo's Grand Library, a massive building filled with books whose pages are blank, devoid of pictures or words. They are unaware of where they are or how they got there and are soon ushered out into the city by guards dressed in medieval armor. No matter what abilities the new addition possesses, fighting the guards is impossible - as is leaving Colligo.

You, unfortunately, have caught The Collector's eye and have been added to his collection. You're faced with two choices: learn to live in this city or die trying to escape it. The choice is yours.

Colligo is a panfandom game set in an original world. We are het/slash/femme friendly and welcome any fandom out there. The Collector wants you.

Poor little Alice. All she really wanted to do was get the hell out of Wonderland.

Unfortunately, the Queen of Hearts, also known as Queen Redd, had other ideas...which is why poor little Alice is presently languishing in a prison chamber that no one has managed to find, where she is slowly going mad. Queen Redd, having basically taken over Wonderland, lured its most famous visitor back and locked her away, reasoning that with Alice in confinement, no one stood a chance of thwarting her.

In the palace of the Queen of Hearts is a long, sumptuous corridor lined with mirrors, so that the Queen may admire herself from every angle as often as she likes. To construct this corridor, she laid claim to every mirror in Wonderland...each of which has its own special magical property.

The White Rabbit and the Caterpillar, desperate to find some way to rescue Alice and restore Wonderland to its usual chaotic but peaceful glory, began to put these magic mirrors to their own use. Among them is a mirror of their own creation, the Mirror of Erised. It was through these mirrors that different individuals were called from different lands, times, even worlds - all summoned to a Wonderland that none of them could ever have imagined. The Queen of Hearts was initially furious, but the Rabbit and Caterpillar disguised their true intentions by explaining that the visitors were summoned for the Queen's own amusement. She could entertain herself by watching them muddle through a specially created 'subsection' of Wonderland, also called Erised, trying to understand where they were and how to escape, while dealing with the existence of the other people who were also there. Some of them look the same; some have similar powers; all are equally bewildered. And all are needed to break Alice from her place of confinement and save Wonderland.

But be warned. Though this is a Wonderland gone horribly wrong, it is Wonderland nonetheless, and things here are not always what they should be. Certain powers may prove restricted. Certain weapons may prove to sometimes be completely useless; will you shoot that minion of the Queen? Your gun might fire bullets...or it might fire bubbles, or flowers, or fish. Who can you trust in this madcap world? What is real?

Every character retains his or her memories of their own lives and personalities and so on, but none remember falling through the mirrors. They have no recollection of the Queen's mirrored hall, or how they came to Erised. Each simply wakes up in his or her bed at the Halfway House - so named because it's halfway between sanity and madness. From there, it's up to them whether they can join forces with the other players and determine what their purpose is, and how to survive in a world where nothing's quite right...without losing their minds.

Occasionally they will meet other characters. The White Rabbit and the Caterpillar, and the Cheshire Cat - they know of the residents of Erised. After all, they chose them to be their champions. But can the visitors to Erised, the unwilling heroes of this tale, bring themselves to trust, and to believe?

“Tragedy blows through your life like a tornado, uprooting everything, creating chaos. You wait for the dust to settle, and then you choose. You can live in the wreckage and pretend it's still the mansion you remember. Or you can crawl from the rubble and slowly rebuild. Because after disaster strikes, the important thing is that you move on. But if you're like me, you just keep chasing the storm. The problem with chasing the storm is that it wears you down, breaks your spirit. Even the experts agree. A girl needs closure.”-Veronica Mars

Seven years ago, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell, finally bringing an end to his vicious reign of power and terror. Yet, the war did not end with his death. For years, the Wizarding World has worked to repair the damages left during the aftermath of war. Emotional burdens have yet to fully heal, too many lives destroyed, families torn apart, and friends lost. Hogwarts was left in rubble, unable to reopen for years, the damage too great, endless sweat and tears shed as people worked to rebuild the foundations to give their children a future. Death Eaters still roam free, cunningly avoiding even the best Aurors, leaving many in fear that another war will be on the horizon.

As things begin to resemble some semblance of normalcy, an old follower of Voldemort is in the wings, plotting his revenge, gathering the remaining Death Eaters and new followers, planning to unleash a new war, wanting to finish his master’s vision. In the Ministry, a serial killer is murdering powerful political figures, leaving everyone pointing fingers and letting things slip through the cracks. Fenrir Greyback has escaped from Azkaban, butchering countless individuals as he runs from Aurors, gathering and making new werewolves in his travels, gathering an army to strike against the Ministry. All the while, the Muggle World is at war, affecting the Wizarding World as it heightens. The world is in complete chaos.

Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt is determined to rebuild the Wizarding Community into a vision of peace and has called forth some of the best Aurors from around the world in an effort to clean up the United Kingdom, determined to capture and imprison the remaining Death Eaters and send a clear message of constant vigilance to those seeking to do more harm. Many are unhappy with the Minister’s plans, many seeking to replace him and other important individuals, some willing to go to great lengths to achieve their goals.

The Wizarding World is torn between fully recovering and moving forward and taking two steps back, arriving right back where they left off seven years ago. A new war is on the brink, which side will you choose?

Recuperatio is a canon, non-epilogue compliant game taking place in 2005. Game opens June 06, 2009.

Most Wanted: Lavender Brown, Seamus Finnigan, Angelina Johnson, Rabastan and Rodolphus Lestrange, Luna Lovegood, Draco, Lucius, and Narcissa Malfoy, Ernie McMillan, Adrian Pucey, Alicia Spinnet, Bill, Charlie (contact mods before applying), Fleur, George, Molly, Percy, and Ron Weasley, Oliver Wood, and many others!

It’s been one year since the events of Breaking Dawn. Everything’s been quiet and uneventful. The Cullens still reside in Forks, and the treaty between the wolves and them remains strong. Jacob and Sam are still Alphas in separate packs, with Leah, Seth, Quil and Embry in Jacob’s pack. It looks like things have finally settled down nicely.

But what they don’t know is that the Volturi isn’t planning on backing down just yet. Aro wants his hands on Alice, Bella, Edward and even little Renesmee. But they have to be very careful. They won’t tolerate any more mistakes. So what will happen? Will it be the end of the Cullens or will they once again leave victorious?

After Dawn is a post-Breaking Dawn roleplaying game which will focus on writing the events that will follow after the ending of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
