premise

Alessa's anger grew; her hate and the evil that sat inside of her and the town of Silent Hill radiated outwards. It had started by taking those who came near the town. Then it went to the neighboring towns. Eventually, to other states. Then countries.

And now worlds.

It all started about six months ago. As though touched by the hand of some twisted god, the town began to expand, the streets warping into an increasingly confounding labyrinth. As the town's power grew, creatures more horrific than any seen before began to appear. Even the Lakeview Hotel seemed to be changing, the rooms becoming ever more luxurious, as though the building itself was preparing for something. The number of floors increased as though the hotel were expanding on and on for forever with no real idea of where it stopped. It towered above the town as it never had before. The monsters that came out when the sirens screeched throughout the town would stand guard at the doors, waiting for victims who dared to venture out into the darkness.

Now, after months of careful development and preparation, Silent Hill is ready to welcome its newest residents. The question is, are they prepared for what the town has in store for them?

Letters of Lost Days is a multifandom based community in the creepiest of creepy towns; Silent Hill. All your favorite monsters roam the streets, the fog is dense and thick making it impossible to find where the streets begin and end or even see your own hand in front of your face. The school, the hotel, the hospital, and all the familiar places are still there for exploration. The only difference is that instead of being the only one trapped in this living hell, there are people from all sorts of worlds trapped there with you. No one knows how they got there nor does anyone know how to get out - some have tried, venturing into the foggiest areas of the town. Some wake up back in their hotel rooms after passing out - and some never return at all. Do they make it home? Or is there a worse fate that awaits those who try to get away from the hospitality that Silent Hill has brought to them?

The Field: A Game Of Survival [23 Feb 2009|10:07am]
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to wake up one morning and be completely lost?

Imagine that you go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning not where you were supposed to be. All that you have with you is the clothes you were wearing when you fell asleep and perhaps your pillow or blanket, if you are lucky. Confused, you lift your head up to see that it is a beautiful morning. Not a cloud in the sky and the sun is already dazzling. As you clear the sleep from your eyes, certain things start to stand out. You are alone, in a vast field. There is a gentle breeze blowing through the grass. The purple grass. You've never seen grass like that before and as you blink through the bright, nearly white light of the sun you notice the treeline and think that you've never seen trees and vegitation quite like that before either. In a panic you jump up, you run. You run and run and maybe even call out. Call for help. The only thing that answers is the rustle of small animals in the brush, the scatter of brightly coloured birds unlike any you've ever seen before.

Before long you tire yourself out. You keep moving until you are exhausted, you give in to fear. Maybe even sit down to cry. This gives you time to think. How did this happen to you? What happened last night? How did you end up in this strange, strange place so far from home? Unfortunately, nothing at all comes to you. It isn't until that strange white sun starts to sink below the trees that you hear them. In the distance, a strange laughing. No, it's not laughing but it is some kind of animal call. They are large, and there are more than a couple of them. They are moving your way, following the scent of your sweat, you're fear.

The only thing that you know then is that whatever they are, you don't want them to find you.

And then: "Hey," someone says from the brush, barely a whisper. "Hey, over here."

You look and find the face of someone just as dirty, clad in pajamas and wearing a lap blanket like a cape over their shoulders. It's dirty as well. They gesture for you to follow and more than anything else, you are so relieved. You've been found, and whatever has happened, at least you aren't alone anymore.

The Field is a game that explores how a group deals with fear, most especially fear of the unknown. It's a game of survivalism starring every likely and unlikely type of person imaginable. Terror, sadness, joy and possibly even friendship and pride are possible in this game. There are no frills and flashy graphics here, just solid storytelling, drama and explorations into character development.

THE PREMISE
Have you ever dreamed you were someone else and it was so vivid that, for a moment, you were convinced you were that person. It couldn't be, of course. That person isn't even real and dreams are just dreams, right?

Or, maybe not.

A series of people, all around the world, are experiencing that very thing and, as it turns out, there's much more to it than it being just a dream. Those people are all reincarnations of fictional characters - imaginarily people from literature, mythology, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, etc. They don't have conscious memories of their past lives, but, boy, do they dream about them. Some of them even have special abilities related to their former selves.

The dreams can be good or bad, but the one thing they all are is vivid. Those affected might feel like they're going crazy at first, at least until they begin to discover that there are more people like them, that these aren't just random, recurring dreams...

After the events of March 29th, 2007 our Heroes are disheartened, spread across the U.S., and quickly losing their numbers. And to make matters worse, one of their own was working up a plan that would sacrifice his peers to better himself. As if that weren't enough, someone is out there with malicious intent toward people who are "special". Someone is hunting and rounding up anyone with abilities. No one knows who the hunter is or where the hunter comes from. And no one knows where their peers are going. Will opposing sides find allies in each other to end this menace, or will they do as they always have and serve only themselves and their own purposes? Only time will tell... and time is something they're running out of.

HeroesFugitives will parallel Volume 4 of the series starting from March 30th, 2007 (after episode 3.13 Dual) and run in real time. We will be mostly AU from there, but will incorporate some of the events that take place in the rest of season 3 with our game.

Ever wondered what the lives of the chosen ones are really like? Well, I'm going to tell you, because I'm one of them. I'm not talking about beautiful models or actors or musical prodigies or mathematical geniuses. I'm talking about the people who are born to it- those of us who have everything anyone could possibly wish for and who take it all completely for granted.

Welcome to New York City's Upper East Side, where my friends and I live and go to school and play and sleep- sometimes with each other. We all live in huge apartments with our own bedrooms and bathrooms and phone lines. We have unlimited access to money and booze and whatever else we want, and out parents are rarely home, so we have a ton of privacy. We're smart, we've inherited classic good looks, we wear fantastic clothes, and we know how to party. Our shit still stinks, but you can't smell it because the bathroom is sprayed hourly by the maid with a refreshing scent made exclusively for us by French perfumers.

It's a luxe life, but someone's got to live it.

XOXO is an RPG set in the world of Gossip Girl. Here, you can play as your favorite character and enjoy the scandalous world in the Upper East Side.

The game begins after the events in episode 2x12, "It's A Wonderful Lie". The Snowflake Ball ended with a smash - literally. Serena attends the Ball with her artist boyfriend, Aaron Rose, but she begins to question her relationship with him when Dan and Lexi, Aaron's ex-girlfriend, go to the Ball together. Chuck and Blair try to match each other up with the perfect date, but things don't go as planned. Vanessa and Nate's relationship becomes public knowledge, and Little J isn't too happy about it. Lily and Rufus come to terms with something that's been bothering them for the past 20 years, but will the death of Bart Bass put a damper on things, or just make them easier? Now you can decide.
