I've been out of the role playing world for quite some time now and would love to write with new writers, also write new storylines as well. Please check the journal for more info. City Of Hills is an aim and thread friendly PB/city based community set in San Francisco, California.
Writers of this community are promised to have control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, the mod(s) will not worry about how much of whatever is going around; especially considering this is a city wide based game. If things get out of hand, the game will address the issue(s) as a whole then. Members of this community have a voice with us and their opinions and suggestions are always validated and taken into high consideration. We also will provide a lot of interactive opportunities for characters. All play by (PB) types welcome.

| PREMISE |
Imagine receiving the opportunity of a lifetime completely out of the blue in a simple envelope. It could happen on a completely average day or perhaps on the most important day of your life when you notice the envelope. At first it doesn't look like much. Just a simple white envelope with your name on it but the sudden appearance of the envelope is quite strange and, even stranger, you simple can't take your eyes off of it.
Suddenly, nothing seems as important as seeing what's inside. The first chance you get, you tear it open. You're desperate to know what it is.
Oddly enough it's a ticket for the maiden voyage of a luxury cruise liner and it has your name on it. Of course, you don't remember buying a ticket and can't imagine why anyone would send you one. Perhaps it's a mistake or someone's idea of a joke. You may consider throwing it away or calling the company number on the ticket when you realize something even stranger has happened.
Instead of where you're supposed to be, you now find yourself standing in line to board the ship. How did this happen? There's no time to ask questions as the line moves forward. Next thing you know, you're aboard the ship. A smiling woman takes your ticket, hands you a key and instructs you to enjoy the trip as you open your mouth to question her. She assures you that there's no need to worry, that everything you need is in your cabin and that you were selected especially for this trip. A momentarily calm descends as you and the other passengers listen to her advice and follow her instructions.
It lasts long enough for the ship to leave port. Then you start to panic as you realize what's happening. |
| EXPLANATION |
Set Sail RPG is a multifandom game on Livejournal open to characters from tv shows, movies, books, and comics. As described in the premise, your character mysteriously receives a ticket for the maiden voyage of a luxury cruise ship. Little do they know that they've been selected to be part of an experiment being run by the Ck906 Corporation. The cruise ship is merely a front for the corporation and they plan to preform psychological and scientific experiments on the passengers. Can the passengers survive these experiments and turn the table on their captors? Can they discover the horrible truth behind Ck906?
Only one way to find out...
