 Chaos Theory is an X-Men-centric powerswap game currently centered around the events of the Salem Academy. Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr are co-headmasters of the school, but as the mutant population grows their ideological differences are beginning to cause serious rifts in the student body. The days of Salem Academy's isolation may be coming to an end as the politics and the events of the outside world invade the previously private school, and bring them into the open.
Although Chaos Theory is an X-Men centric game, other Marvel characters are welcome. See the rules for details on applying for non X-Men Marvel characters.

What happens after ever after? Do our beloved heroes and villains vanish? Are they doomed to repeat themselves over and over again with each human retelling? Do they continue to progress and grow even when their most avid fans & biographers stopped listening to them decades, even centuries ago? Pentamerone is the last stronghold of human imagination. The hundreds of magical lands and worlds that used to exist in the minds of children are now in a state of decay. As a result, the figures of legend have fled to this newly imagined land. Some are afraid Pentamerone will merely become a graveyard for the last of the fairy tales, others are determined to start a new life in their promised land. It's up to you, and them, to decide how they will survive. |

PREMISE
The Durmstrang Institute was created for the magical instruction of Eastern European wizards. Once upon a time, it accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude, but now, any time that Muggleborns and halfbloods were ever accepted is a distant memory, in favor of rigid social classes and tradition. Students are ingrained with a sense of superiority or inferiority [one that often starts at home], a respect for tradition and appropriate social behavior, and most importantly a strong desire to succeed and to be the best. Students that graduate from Durmstrang are the most talented, the strongest, the brightest, and the best. The only question is...are you strong enough to survive until graduation?

A post-warts game which revolves around the entertainment industry |
Five years after The End and the wizarding world is beginning to move on thanks to the suddenly booming entertainment industry and the addition of A Knights Walk, the all new off-shoot to Diagon Alley. With the sudden addition of new technologies both muggle (hello, television) and wizard (journals? yes, please!) the wizarding world is definitely looking to the future.
Life, or something like it is a post-hogwarts game which forgets about the epilogue and lets you decide exactly how things pan out. Focusing on the entertainment industry and character development rather than the fall-out of the war and it's hindrances on the wizarding world LOSLI has a friendly and fun atmosphere and is always looking for more players and diverse characters to add to the cast. As the game centers around the entertainment industry (music, quidditch and the new fangled television) many of its plots will be entertainment geared.
If you're a dedicated, self-motivated player who is looking for a nice paced character development centric game which is not all war and politics then LOSLI maybe the perfect game for you!
