Downstage Productions was created in 1997 by a group of four friends who were struggling actors trying to make it in New York City. After countless rejections, the four friends wanted to try something different. They were sick of NYC and the harsh reality of the entertainment business. They bought a van and decided to travel around the US instead, putting on plays wherever they stopped. They performed, just the four of them, in parks, at schools, on sidewalks - anywhere people would stop to watch. Eventually more people started to join them. What began as four friends just wanting to prove themselves became an entire touring theater company. Instead of playing for free in parks, Downstage Productions now shows in some of the most respected regional theaters around the United States.

| The Seven Kingdoms are without a King and the ancient game of thrones begins anew. For almost a thousand years the Targaryens have reigned, yet now the powers of the world watch with greedy anticipation as Westeros sinks into turmoil. The lords of the land have met in the capital city to choose one of their own to rule, but not one of them has forgotten their ancestors were kings of separate lands.
Will there be Seven Kingdoms once more or will the Lords put aside their pride and vote to place one alone upon the treacherous Iron Throne?

Humanity witnessed the pinnacle of its evolution. For a short span of time, Earth was a veritable paradise and the genius of man seemed untouchable. They say that history wields the greatest lessons of all; a saying that has always been proven true. As technologically brilliant as we had become, we did not learn from our mistakes. We did not learn to overcome our own hubris. Each country became lofty of its achievements, while simultaneously becoming greedy for those of others. Those caught in the middle were forced to chose sides. So began a war unlike any other and, when it all ended, the paradisiacal version of Earth was lost.
It has been thirty years since and the world has yet to recover. It lies mostly barren and uninhabitable, save for a few bleak cities scattered over the northern hemisphere. Human society has attempted to pick up the pieces but struggle to remain hopeful in the face of a despotic government that monitors and regulates their every move. Some flee the dictatorship to live on the outskirts, or even in the deserts – only to cope with the perpetual sand storms, lack of resources, and those mutated by the nuclear holocaust we unleashed to end the war.
