At the beginning of June, Charles Xavier recieved a message from an old friend. Two weeks later, he and several of his students suffered from an identical nightmare. Something is stirring, sending ripples through the world. Xavier does what he can, reaching out to Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. to warn them of the coming danger.
But even as the heroes gather their forces, the enemies that oppose them gather theirs, driven by something that they themselves do not understand...
