Music City is a role playing community based in current day Nashville, TN. Nashville is the capital of Tennessee, and boasts a very diverse population. It's not just country music! There's a small-town feel but rest assured, this is a real city. Anything that you think could happen usually does. The rest of it, who, what and how is all up to those people who decide to join in on the fun. Except for the few rules that are necessary evils to keep everything running smoothly, whatever fits in the limited constraints goes. What really matters is having fun!

The first phone call to President Obama was made at 12:01 a.m. Something's happening, something the human race has ignored for far too long. The polar ice caps have melted. They've slammed into the ocean, creating tsunamis and devastation on a near global scale. President Obama is given breakfast and a shower; he's still comfortable in his rooms.
At 1:02 a.m., officials are informed that the volcano underneath Yellowstone National Park is beginning to erupt. There are vehicles flooding the streets to get out, but by the time this news reaches our president, millions are already dead or displaced.
2:01 a.m.
All around the world, volcanoes are erupting, glaciers are melting and fires are burning. World leaders have called states of emergencies, but no one can get to them. By 2:11 a.m., every man, woman, and child must fight for their own lives.
For too long, mankind has ignored signs of global catastrophes. They've ignored warnings from scientists who were written off as mad and obsessed. They've lived too comfortably behind their computer screens and have complained about things like rising gas prices without realizing just why they've been rising.
What was once laughable is now reality, but the human race has realized this far too late.
June 2013
There is no television, no internet, no fuel, no electricity. Most of the planet's resources have been wiped out. Crops are dying as well as cattle. Modern humans have not learned to adapt to growing their own crops as everything has always been available in supermarkets. The only food rations that are left are canned goods in supermarkets that have lost power. The only transportation is either on foot or horseback, unless you're lucky enough to find a vehicle that isn't flooded with water or ash and still has fuel in it.
Earth is in ruins, but a hand full of survivors have found their own way. These survivors have come to a small town in Wyoming, where the air is clear and there is still live cattle, chickens, and crops. They're learning to survive for themselves, even in a world where the only words you hear from anyone anymore are over ham radio. This is how they've found one another, just enough to fill this small area of a state that was once just as ignored as the warnings.
