Shelby, California, nestled at the foot of the San Bernadino Range, was once a widely populous town. Countless people migrated to the place in 1850 as a result of the Gold Rush fever spreading throughout the state.
By 1855, Shelby was a ghost town. Houses and buildings alike had been abandoned, ransacked, and some even burned to the ground. Its residents had fled, fearing the wrath of the vindictive Dooger Brothers’ Gang.
For nine years the once rich locale remained deserted, until a group of people came and claimed the land for their own in September of 1864. They rebuilt, restocked, created new lives for themselves. Faith was restored in these people, this land.
But one thing the new residents never counted on was the return of the hostiles. The bandits. Two rival groups of outlaws, both claiming the town was rightfully theirs to steal from. Both groups periodically threatened New Shelby’s growing economy. Both groups fought and killed each other mercilessly.
The year is 1867. The date, May 1. The place is the fictional former ghost town of New Shelby, California. Law men, bandits, cowboys, and Native Americans abound. A childhood game of “Cowboys and Indians” has come back anew.

It's the first year After Voldemort and things are seemingly back to normal. The Trio is back at Hogwarts to finish out their NEWTs in what has been dubbed a generation of 'Eighth Years' alongside the Seventh Years. However, as the students prepare for exams and the world beyond, in the rest of Wizarding Britain there is a growing partition.
Minister of Magic - Kingsley Shacklebolt - is treading a fine line trying to reconcile concerns while battling a vote of No Confidence. Lucius Malfoy is plotting from inside the Ministry in a bid to gain complete control. Ministry workers are under the influence of Imperio. Fenrir Greyback continues to elude the Aurors and the attacks have begun. Dark magic is showing up in Muggle London! Will the Wizarding World find itself in the middle of a civil war before the wounds of Voldemort's reign are healed?
