It’s been years since the fall of Lord Voldemort and a lot has changed, but no one has forgotten the terrible things that happened in those years. The students of Hogwarts have long been adults and each passed the story on to their own children. The peace lasted so long that many began to take it for granted. Stories of Death Eaters and mass Muggle killings became old and tired legends. A new generation has come to power and that means a new generation of kids to fill the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many of them are the spawn of those who fought for the freedom of the Magical World. They have strong backgrounds in magic and histories that cannot compare to any earlier generations since The Fall, but there is one thing their parents could not prepare them for: School.
While the outside world is terribly peaceful, and true, a lot of things have changed for the better in Hogwarts, it’s not all that different. Some people still hold their prejudices, especially the descendants of the once great and feared Death Eaters. Lines have been drawn over blood for centuries and nothing will ever change that. Though surprisingly some of the elitist pure blood families have produced heirs who dare to stand apart, and house divisions aren’t what they used to be. It’s not uncommon for a Slytherin and a Gryffindor to be best friends. But if these kids are smart they will question every move made by former enemies. The peace has lasted a long time….too long many would say. Countless witches and wizards fear a change is coming around the bend, and even more fear that Hogwarts, once again, will be the main target.
