It took the Wizarding World two years to get to Knockturn Alley. They'd rebuilt Hogwarts, the Ministry, and St. Mungo's, and properly celebrated the heroes and punished the villains. When Lisa Turpin bought the dilapidated old White Wyvern Pub on the now-renamed Victory Road people told her she was crazy. Ten Months later, in December of 2000, The Victory Bar (V-Bar) opened and began a time of renewal for the formerly Dark neighborhood. Not long after, Melinda Bobbin opened Sweet Nothings, a charming and high-end patisserie. Soon, more businesses moved in and by 2008 the street is a bustling reminder of what good can come from the darkness, if only one believes.
Join your favorite familiar wizarding faces - and some new ones - as life goes on ten years after the war that changed them all. We're a brand new, friendly social RP (started July 11th!) with a game-wide plot starting soon. Kingsley Shacklebolt has called elections for Minister for Magic at the end of his first full 7-year term - eccentric inventor Gaspard Shingleton is running against the stalwart Auror and the campaign is set to begin! |

The year is 2017. A new president has been inaugurated, and soon after a congressional bill admitting the existence of the supernatural becomes law. All supernatural beings, mortal and immortal, are revealed. Some people are surprised by this revelation, and others less so. People find themselves struggling to adapt, and it leads to both internal and external conflicts. Acceptance of those from non-human descent varies by community, education, upbringing, and social class, but most certainly is not universal.
In Philadelphia, one of the most populated cities in the US, the mayor institutes a further law that discrimination against supernaturals is illegal, the first city to offer a law of this sort. Responses swing from ignoring the law entirely, to those who simply see it is proper to treat everyone the same as logic. The trades some, especially fae, brought with them from their lengthy existence brought benefit to the city economy and new businesses were able to develop and expand - though some found themselves vandalized too.
Supernaturals are being pulled out of the shadows. How will you react? [OPENS AUGUST 15]

| As chaos and fear rule Hogwarts, there are some of those who fight back. The DA is still recruiting and still urging those who can to fight against their oppressors and take back their rights. Even the reign of the Death Eaters are poised to take over Hogwarts, the decision on which side to choose rests on the shoulders of the students. Will they decide to do what is right and fight for their rights? Or what is easy and give into the power that rules? counteraction is a canon compliant Deathly Hollows Harry Potter RPG. We will be focusing on the lives of the students at Hogwarts as the war slowly creeps into their daily routines. There will be opportunities for recruitment in both the DA and the IS. This will be a darker game with over all war themed elements with a sprinkling of social aspects threaded through.
