It's 2016, shortly after the devastating Civil War that split the Avengers down the middle, a new piece of legislation is ushered through; The Equality Act. Held as the next step in achieving harmony between human and superhuman, the Act is put in place to right the wrongs of greedy men reacting to vengeful manipulation. The Accords are scrapped and life is set to return to what it was, just a little more stable on the path.
But not everyone feels the same. Extremists on each side look to tip the balance, to push for power. Meanwhile the mostly dissolved SHIELD and the struggling resources of HYDRA continue to rebuild themselves, ready to start their battle anew, with more prosperous hopes in membership. All the while, superheroes are attempting to get back to their lives and keep the world turning amid new threats.
Planet Marvel is a marvel continuity based RP game centered around both comic and movie canons. Set around two months following the abolishment of the Sokovian Accords and MCU's Captain America: Civil War, the game follows on with new developments for characters across the Marvel platform. HAWTHORNE HOTEL
Salem, Massachusetts: a city once notorious for hunting witches is now controlled by them. The Hawthorne Coven was founded by the infamous Sanderson Sisters and they live under the city. The Sandersons have time traveling power to drive more souls into the city for them to feed on. The more souls that arrive, the more powerful the coven becomes.
