With the destruction of the Hosnian System, the New Republic is in tatters. The Galactic Senate is no more, billions of citizens are dead, and the new government can no longer protect the planets it had promised to protect. With confidence in the New Republic at a low, citizens are left wondering who can offer the best protection.
The First Order, who offers the same sort of tyrannical order that the Empire did, where safety and peace comes with the price of freedom.
Or the Resistance, a war torn and militant group that has shown it will fight until the last man to preserve the ideals of the Republic, both old and new.
The Resistance is the last hope the New Republic has. Some blame it for the growing hostilities and power of the First Order. Others see it as a salvation. There is no more hiding in the shadows.
