The reason is simple, because this particular school is specifically for students from paranormal walks of life -- the children of monsters, those with a special gift, or those that have passed on from this world. The Clara Reeve School sits nestled in the Monongahela National Forest, tucked away in protective charms and spells to keep it safe and secluded from the humans who may otherwise stumble onto it. The school offers both Middle and High school to supernatural children from all over the world. Any creature is welcome at the school, as long as they are respectful about their powers while they are there. The school serves many different types of the same creatures, as well, with varying strengths, weaknesses, and appearances amongst even the same species.
