Desperately Wanted
Minister for Magic, Nicholas Urqhart
Do you want to play the hottest Minister for Magic in history? A man whom women lust after and men want to be? A man whose pureblood parenting skills don't actually leave a lot to be desired?
Nicholas Urqhart is the newly sworn in Minister for Magic, having won the first wizarding election on January 29th, 2025. Previously, he was Head of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. He is married to Cynthia Urqhart, nee Carrow, and they have three children - Alexandra, 7; Robert, 4; and Charlotte, 1. At 27, Cynthia is 20 years younger than he is, and their marriage started as an arrangement between them (brokered by Cynthia, who was desperate to get out of her parents house) but has turned into a love match. Cynthia and Nicholas are a united team who work together for their own family's own benefit and are capable of swinging in either direction - Order or Knights.
As Nicholas, you will have carte blanche when it comes to plotting for the Ministry of Magic. At Judicium, we do not require you to run plots past the mods. We do ask that you show fellow players the common courtesy of discussing plots that will affect them before setting them in motion, but there is a lot more freedom to play with here. If Nicholas wants to remove an entire department from the Ministry, he can. If he wants to create an entirely new department to deal with a particular issue, he can do that too. If he wants to fire someone or multiple people, he can do that too. (Again, discussing this with other players first.)
There is also a major plot about to go down which Nicholas has a stake in, so it would be awesome to have him before that becomes public knowledge. If you're interested in playing Nicholas and you'd like to know more, please get in contact with the mods here or contact Cynthia's player here.
