J U D I C I U M
Judicium is a third war game set in 2025. Rodolphus Lestrange has been quietly recruiting Death Eaters during the past 25 years, and just when he was poised to make his move, he discovered that his late wife Bellatrix had betrayed him with Lord Voldemort, and had his child. This child was hidden by Lucius and Narcissa and upon Bellatrix's death, they left the child on the steps of St Mungo's for the child to be adopted into a wizarding family. This derailed Rodolphus' plans and he has been searching for this child instead.
The plot so far…
Kingsley Shacklebolt retired as Minister for Magic in order to spend more time with his family. He instituted many reforms in the wizarding world, but none more controversial than the introduction of Muggle-style elections. A general election was held on January 29 to elect a new Minister for Magic. The following day, the new Minister was announced - Nicholas Urqhart, formerly the Head of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. He took office on Monday, February 2nd and big things are expected.
On January 10, Death Eaters struck Hogsmeade, setting magically explosive devices to go off in the potions shop, The Clawing Badger. One bomb went off, causing death and destruction, and then a second bomb went off, timed specifically to catch the first responders as they were trying to help the injured people inside The Clawing Badger as well as Honeydukes and Tomes and Scrolls, which are on either side of the potions shop and sustained a lot of damage as well.
Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy are missing, having been abducted from their own home, and Caleb Warrington, Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports (and secretly a Death Eater) is also missing. And on top of all of this, a rogue werewolf is on the loose, deliberately luring people in on full moon nights and then transforming to bite them before they can run away.
The Order has been called back into service, with Harry actively doing everything he can to find Rodolphus and put an end to this before it can really get started.
And now Rodolphus has distanced himself from the group of Death Eaters who attacked Hogsmeade, insisting that they do not represent his group in any way. He is renaming his own group the Knights of Walpurgis, and the Death Eaters and the Dark Mark are now associated only with the group who think nothing of randomly attacking a wizarding village and murdering children.
Judicium is a game filled with intrigue, plot, fun and romance. Our players are amazing, very creative, welcoming and LOVE new characters!
