The year is 2024. The wizarding world, relatively peaceful for so many years following the end of the second war, is entering a period of unrest...
Hogwarts has the Winter Ball coming up on the 19th of December. Our current students would love more 6th and 7th years in all four houses.
A new soon-to-be-renamed version of Dumbledore's Army is being started, along with the Knights of Walpurgis, a junior Death Eater club for like-minded pureblood students.
Filius Flitwick is on the verge of retirement so a new Charms professor will be needed. A list of Hogwarts professors can be found here. Linked names are taken, unlinked names can be changed.
The election for Minister for Magic is coming up in January.
There is a rogue werewolf on the loose, biting people. If you're interested in playing the person who was bitten on the December 6 full moon, you can get more information on this character by asking via our drop box. January's full moon will bring with it another newly bitten werewolf who is available for play and a complete blank slate, plus the news will be leaked to the media, causing an uproar.
The Death Eaters have been quietly building up their ranks, particularly within the Ministry of Magic in order to take over. We currently only have one played Death Eater. We need more!
The Order has been reformed, though they don't have much to fight against until the Death Eaters make a move. Currently they are gathering information.
We have a major event coming up that will involve Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, so it would be awesome to have Ron and George around for that.
There is a lot going on in the game, plenty to talk about and for your characters to be involved in.
