In 2029, Wizarding England stands at the cusp of a new Quidditch season. With the darkest ages of the Wizarding world long behind them, witches and warlocks alike are prepared to leave their troubles at the door of every stadium - whether they support the Harpies, the Wanderers or Puddlemere United, magic users across the globe are united by their obsession. Tabloids spill over with gossip, fans gather in the streets, and posters of nearly every player sell out in stores across the countries. Professional Quidditch players are stalked by fans and paparazzi alike, whether in the pursuit of an autograph or a juicy story - there is no such thing as privacy in such a career. And above all else, every member of every British team intends to do one thing this season: win.

'Ditched is a next-generation Harry Potter roleplaying game, set in the year 2029 and focusing on the exciting world of the British and Irish Quidditch League. We will explore the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and the treacherous balancing act between a player's career, and their life off the pitch.

For the past 200 years, House Black has ruled Wizarding England as an Absolute Monarchy, forcing a rigid caste system and a pro-pureblood agenda. King Orion was a ruthless ruler, and in 2019, the Order of the Phoenix rose up against him, throwing the Wizarding World into turmoil.
In the end, King Orion's son, Prince Sirius, killed his own father, ending his 62 year reign. A blood-equality supporter and one of the secret founders of the Order of the Phoenix, Sirius refused the throne of the newly established constitutional monarchy. Instead, citizens voted Arthur Weasley, one of the public heads of the rebellion, into the role of King. Though he has no political power, he continues to rule by keeping the peace between the old ways and the new. The upcoming vote for the Wizarding World's first Minister of Magic will rule over the newly established Parliament and ensure a more fair and just society.
The year is 2020, and the newly crowned King Arthur has been working to abolish many of the old pureblooded laws restricting muggleborn and half-blood rights. Though many support him, there are still those who believe in the old ways.
