it began with twenty four fighters kidnapped for a televised arena game. the show became a runaway hit. more fighters were gathered. the arenas became grander and more diverse. the living facilities were expanded with increasing luxuries and challenges to occupy the fighters in their downtime. it has become a world of its own.
the aliens who captured the fighters and run the arenas have only acknowledged one motive for their actions: entertainment. obviously there are those who don't believe this or simply don't care and still refuse to play by the rules. struggle and resist or accept your fate, either way, the next arena will come.
let the games begin

 GUIDELINES APPLICATION CAST WANTED HELD DROPBOX OOC | BELLA SWAN IS DEAD. The literary worlds are in an uproar. Inter-canonical pathways, dubbed "rabbit holes" by those in the know, are cropping up everywhere, letting outside characters in as often as native characters are being let out. The stories we were raised on are being altered: rogues wreak havoc, their intentions noble as often as they are ignoble, as civilians find their lives and plot lines turned upside down.
In the midst of the madness, Canon Corps — an organization based out of Dictionopolis tasked with keeping the peace — are scrambling to put things to rights, but their numbers are being spread thin as more and more books fall prey to the mysterious pandemic. Who is responsible? More importantly, is the situation solvable? Just who the hell is John Galt, anyway? Time is running out before literature's very foundations are torn asunder, and no one is able to gauge whether the damage done might not already be irreparable... but we may as well enjoy the mayhem while it lasts, shall we?
flyleaves is an RPG based very loosely on ideas found in Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series. Familiarity with the series is not required, although you must have a thorough knowledge of your chosen book and character. This RPG accepts literature-based characters only.
