Premise May 2, 2005. On the seven-year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Minister Shacklebolt announces the Ministry of Magic’s intention to begin an experimental live/work community in Hogsmeade Village. For the first time since the Second War, halfbloods, Muggleborns, and purebloods are to reside in complete cooperation and harmony.
