Trickster's Paradise: A multi-verse, -generation, -version Harry Potter game! [26 Sep 2012|04:24pm] TRICKSTER'S PARADISE The year is 2005... or is it 1981? Or 1970? Or 2029? Or 1998? Or 990? No one is quite sure... all you know is that you’re suddenly standing just outside a large wrought icon gate which reads "Trickster's Paradise", through which can be seen a street that looks like Hogsmeade... only something is just slightly off. Soon you'll discover how Hogsmeade somehow branches off into Diagon Alley, with Hogwarts looming over it, and that the Ministry of Magic is at the other end of the front door of the Leaky. Not to mention that just beyond the Forbidden forest is that beach in Blackpool that you used to go to when you were a kid. That is, if the entire place hasn't turned into Venice or a jungle full of dinosaurs, of course! Welcome to the Trickster’s Paradise. Feel free to settle in and find a place to stay; you’ll discover that somehow, most of your favorite possessions will appear in your home the moment you choose it. Take advantage of this odd turn of events and get to know people you thought were long gone. But don’t get too comfortable. You see, odd things are known to happen in the Trickster’s Paradise... he has to stay entertained somehow after all. Once you wake up in your new room -decorated to your tastes, of course-theres no leaving. Oh sure, you're free to wander the endless maze of hallways, and there's even a reception desk should you get that far. What is this place, you ask? Well thats just it, no one knows. Once upon a time, it used to be a prison ship. A place that would pick up people and judge them, but now it just drifts aimlessly...somewhere in the universe. Everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It;s changed, however. Now instead of judging people and sentencing them, it -through some odd twist in mechanics- has set itself to have others discover their more...baser instincts. Any form of pleasure you like, any little thing you can think of, can and will be offered. All it wants in return is for you to stay. Forever. Of course, there's more to do then just indulge in your instincts. With every person the ship collects, it adds to the endless hallways of doors. Behind some theres libraries, swimming pools, behind others there could be entire storefronts, or amusement parks. Endless delights to keep its guests -or are they prisoners?-occupied. [26 Sep 2012|10:18pm] The year is 1996 and there have been changes at Hogwarts. Professor Severus Snape has taken over as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, the position he’s coveted. Horace Slughorn, an old friend of Albus Dumbledore, has taken over as the Potions professor and is become very important to the Headmaster and his mission. As there are changes, there are some things that always stay the same. There are Quidditch victories to be won, teenage romances to be had and exams to be taken. The world is changing, teenage priorities are not. MOST WANTED: Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Gregory Goyle, Blaise Zabini, Terry Boot, Su Li, Cormac McLaggen, Marietta Edgecomb, Millicent Bulstrode mandrake is a canon based game set in the trio's sixth year. We will be exploring both social aspects and the political aspects of the students' lives at Hogwarts.
