 | It's the summer of 1998. A few months ago, in June, Harry Potter competed as the Hogwarts Champion in the Triwizards Tournament. But the final task was a trap, one designed to take him straight into the clutches of Lord Voldemort. Harry escaped, but at the cost of Albus Dumbledore's life.
Now, as Death Eater activity slowly rises, the country is on the brink of war. The Order of the Phoenix has reformed, but the Ministry and most of the citizens refuse to listen to them. They prefer to pretend like everything is alright. They're not quite sure what happened to Harry Potter in that maze, but they're very convinced that it was You Know Who. After all, most still remember the First Wizarding War, and no one can fathom trying to live through a second one.
We Are At War is a slight AU game that takes the events of the Second Wizarding War and delays them three years. |

 Welcome to the Hunger Games. Twenty Four went in, only you came home. In between there was blood, sorrow, terror, tears. In between innocence was lost and murderers were made. You went in a child and came out a Victor. But Victory isn't always sweet. Because The Game doesn't end when you exit the Arena.
The Game is a game within a game. Two sides of a coin. On one side is the Arena. Contained, controlled, no way out but dying or winning. On the other is the Capitol. Victors, Sponsors, Capitolites, all pawns in a constant battle of political intrigue, favors owed, dark dealings, and broken promises. In the end there is no real winner. You play or you die. Only this Game never ends.

The Game is a Hunger Games RP set during the 51st through 55th Games.

The year is 1996 and there have been changes at Hogwarts. Professor Severus Snape has taken over as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, the position he’s coveted. Horace Slughorn, an old friend of Albus Dumbledore, has taken over as the Potions professor and is become very important to the Headmaster and his mission.
As there are changes, there are some things that always stay the same. There are Quidditch victories to be won, teenage romances to be had and exams to be taken. The world is changing, teenage priorities are not.
