Welcome to Elmwood State Hospital |
Outside the mutliverse sits a state of the art mental hospital, a place for so called fictional characters to go when their own world seems to be closing in on them. There's a place for everyone here, all you have to do is accept your place.
Some will be enlisted as doctors, even if they are not medically trained or certified. None of that matters here. If there is a need, the hospital will qualify the called...
Some will be taken in as patients. Their diagnosis will as varied as the people who are pulled in.
(Note: The players have free reign here. You choose your character, you can saddle him or her with any diagnosis you wish, either canon based or not. Go nuts! The game is made for crack, have fun with this!)

A Dangerous Twist
What if the Battle of Hogwarts never happened? What if, after the giant fiasco of Gringott’s, Voldemort was able to figure out what was happening in order to get the Diadem of Ravenclaw and beat a hasty retreat with Nagini? What if, five years later, the war is still raging in Britain?
Voldemort is hiding, biding his time in a fortress that is known only to his closest and most devoted followers. There he has kept his last two horcruxes safe and secret, and from there, he rules Wizarding England , asserting his agenda of absolute power over the land. Those who follow him seek to eradicate the last of the muggleborns from Britain and recreate the world in their own pure image. So far, the muggles remain largely unaffected, but everyone knows it’s only a matter of time before they’re wiped out as well.
But there is resistance. The Order of the Phoenix is still fighting strong, smuggling out those they can and planning strikes against the Death Eaters. Harry Potter and his close friends work tirelessly to try and locate and destroy the last horcruxes, so they can finally kill Voldemort and end this war.
And caught in the middle is the ministry. Filled with the neutral, the cowardly, the bureaucrats only after their own power, and spies on both sides, the ministry seems more battleground than ruling body as both sides fight for control.
One thing is clear: the war has to end. But even if and when Voldemort is defeated, what happens then? Where do you begin to rebuild the world? How do you punish the wicked, or restart an economy? How do you begin to heal?

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG  Henry - better known as Hank - McCoy was one of the school's original students, and left to form an illustrious career as a scientist. When an experiment went horribly wrong and accelerated his mutation, giving him the appearance of the Beast of his codename, Hank sank into depression, nearly killing himself on several occasions in attempts to find a cure. Eventually brought out of despair by his friends from the school, plus colleagues such as Moira MacTaggart, he resumed his career, returning periodically to the school to act as the mansion's inventor and doctor, as well as an X-Man. It was during one of these sojurns that he adopted the son of one of the students, Danielle Moonstar, fulfilling a life-long dream to become a father. With fellow doctor Madelyn Bartlet, he found love, and eventually the couple moved to Edinburgh to raise Billy in a safer environment and further their careers. Hank returned briefly in 2009, but again the conflict between family and duty left him torn. When Billy became seriously ill in 2012, he returned to Scotland.
X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.
