After breaking the taboo on Voldemort's name, Harry, Ron and Hermione were captured and taken to Malfoy Manor where they were only saved with the intervention of Dobby, the House Elf who was tragically killed. What if not everything went according to plan? As Dobby gripped Harry's hand, Bellatrix Lestrange hurled her knife across the room, one second earlier. It struck, one inch to the left. As Dobby collapsed, Voldemort arrived and Harry Potter was plunged into the hands of the Dark Lord. Now, it is nearing the end of 1998.
