HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO 2006!
The dawn of a new year is the perfect time to make resolutions. Some people resolve to diet and excercise. Some people resolve to stop smoking. Penelope Clearwater has resolved to stop gambling other people's money and to try to avoid setting anything on fire, but makes no promises. Tim Blenkinsop has resolved to come up with a less creepy explanation for why he keeps a tail in a jar. Lee Jordan's resolution is simply to avoid getting arrested. Pansy Parkinson, being perfect already, doesn't need to make any resolutions but has some suggestions for everyone else whether or not they want to hear them.
One shadowy new group has made a dire resolution: to reveal the existence of magic to the muggle world regardless of the consequences and they've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand. If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all.
It's a new year in the Wizarding World and before it's over, life as we all know it will change forever.

Once Upon A Time is such an innocuous phrase. No one says when that time is. There’s nothing to say that it wasn’t 1838. 1924. 2012.
Once Upon A Time, a building was built on a vacant lot in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The area had been left alone for years, unclaimed by state or owner due to a technicality in legal work. The lot was rumored to be haunted, because of a ghastly ghost story which circled the area. In the late 2000’s construction began, creating a building that was advertized as reinventing the apartment complex - Marchen Heights.
It appealed to the wealthy, looking for a new place to claim. For some, it was an escape from bitter exes or a past rife with scandal. It appealed to the poor, when a lottery offered spots to a select few. For them, it was a chance to flee an abusive home or try to make it in a grim world. It appealed to those who fell in between, not realizing they needed a change. Moving across the Charles River – or further – wasn’t always their intention. Marchen Heights and the people who rented out the apartments were impossible to resist.
What few realized though was that those given the chance to live in this complex were not there to seek out a fairytale life. That had already been granted to them. There’s reason to fear the man with rumors about past wives – to be kind to the maid with ashy feet. Each resident has a story even though they’re not aware of it yet.
Marchen Heights is a fairytale and folklore based game with a set time frame. Characters are based on figures from tales around the world and will be ensnared in the mysteries of Marchen. A smaller, fast-paced game, Marchen intends to be a unique roleplaying experience.

PREMISE It was assumed that after the famous Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort, the world would go back to normal. That nothing bad could happen, because everyone had learned from their mistakes. They were wrong. But in the year 2016, a new darkness fell over the Wizarding World, wrought not by a dark wizard but a Squib. With his envy and rage against the world, he and his brother created an organisation to destroy the world of magic and make people fear what they once loved.
UNKNOWN doesn't care what your last name is, what blood you have or even where you stand. If you are a magical being, you are a target. Together with their new found army, all with the same burning hatred for the Wizarding world they are planning to take over, one mark at a time.
The year is 2027. New Year celebrations have passed and UNKNOWN has released a statement claiming grander plans for the year ahead. It is a warning - prepare for the worst. So whose side will you be on? That of those causing havoc or those attempting to fight back, those willing to give everything up?
Welcome to Targeted, a dark next-generation game that will explore what happens when no one is safe.

Pandora's Box
Pandora Zurlo wants her memories back. She's already taken several back, leaving behind a wake of bodies and a mass of confusion and panic. No one even realises Pandora Zurlo has poor Jayne Dough doing her dirty work. People are scared, pointing fingers, and no one knows who will be next.
Pandora's Box is a dark Harry Potter RPG set in 2003. Harry Potter was the first of Pandora's victims and the numbers are growing. With every memory regained, Pandora grows stronger. It's only a matter of time before she's slaughtered everyone with her memories, unless someone stops her first. But how do you fight an enemy you don't know? |
