There’s a world beneath the London you know: a world that smells of brimstone and blood, and where magic lives alongside the mundane. It’s a world where you can buy abilities at a travelling Market; where when the circus rolls into town, it brings nightmares with it; a world presided over by an organisation so old that time has forgotten when the Library began. It’s a world where anything goes, where London is just another board for the game, a gamble for souls is taking place, and you might — just might — encounter one of Heaven’s own or a demon amid the crowds on the underground. And they play to win.
Influenced by Hellblazer, Neil Gaiman and urban fantasy, At the Gates is an original supernatural game with noir themes, focusing on the lives of those jostling along in the magic world in shadowy other-London. Magic is harsh; horror is common; character realism is encouraged.

Located on Scribbld.com, the Crescent City Institute is open for another year of magical hijinks and mayhem. We need cheerleaders, Quodpot and Quidditch players, characters who aren't Caucasian, pureblood fanatics, bitches and hos, straight kids, gay kids, drama kings and queens, rebels, popular kids, investigators, jocks (PLEASE!), characters who could fill some wanted lines (Link to wanted characters here), scene kids, goths, preps, and everyone in between. IT STARTED WITH A WITCH
A 616 Marvel game that takes place after M Day, with one small alteration. No need to memorize over 20 years of history and comics! Just a basic knowledge of the character's personality, powers, and origins. So no more running in fear from contradictory back histories. They haven't happened yet! All the groundwork of our world is laid out for you in our premise.
So if you are looking for a friendly, writing focused comm where we love and promote character development and run plots with that 616, cinematic feel, come check us out! After all, who doesn't like some personality with their spandex and crazy fun with their drama?

It all fractured. Time itself had been tampered with in such a way that it broke and then fell in upon itself. It mended but with pieces in places they didn’t belong. Sons and fathers became brothers, professors became fellow students, and even Hogwarts founders became mere heads of house as time collapsed in on itself compressing different points in time over a thousand years. All were unaware. All thought it was how it had always been.
Fractured Fate is a Multi-Gen Harry Potter game set in a compressed and paradoxed time line. Time unraveled and tried to repair itself and when it did things got very strange.
Game Begins November 1st!
