After the downfall of Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters, a new feeling of patriotism among the Wizarding World encouraged plenty of citizens to want to police their world. This caused an influx of employees in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, as more and more people were interested in being Aurors and Hit Wizards. Difference in opinions caused different political groups to emerge, causing the Ministry of Magic to have many more government officials than at once was necessary. With most people focused on the DMLE, less and less people were interested in other career paths.

The Department of Education was created after several years, in order to work with Hogwarts and create a system which would help students choose their career paths. With the redesign of the study programs, the aim was to train students for occupations in other areas, and give them a background to launch them their prospective careers. Hogwarts has successfully implemented this program for the past five years, and continues to show students the various career paths they are able to focus their attention on. As a requirement for graduation now, students are required to choose a path, regardless of whether or not they continue that path after Hogwarts.

this is not your average MWPP game.

No one's worried about defeating You-Know-Who. No one has any idea about horcruxes. No, these kids have a much bigger problem: surviving Hogwarts. We have Gryffindors running around looking like lions, Slytherins plotting pranks involving mice, Hufflepuffs rallying behind their own and a Muggle film night ending with spiked Pumpkin juice.

Hearts will be broken, interhouse wars will be fought and these kids are going to show those professors that this is the real world; their real world.

Join us now and get in on the fun. Hogsmeade trips! Bi-monthly muggle film nights! Lots of plot, lots of interaction and, basically, lots of awesome.

[info]prankstersmods is an AU MWPP roleplaying game set at Hogwarts in 1977, the Marauders' last year. Most wanted characters include: Kingsley Shacklebolt, Amycus Carrow, Molly Prewett, Gideon Prewett, Mary Macdonald, Caradoc Dearborn, Barty Crouch, Jr., Rabastan Lestrange, Rodolphus Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy, Quidditch Players, Male Characters and more!

Return to Paradise

The year is 2012 and the world is starting to crumble. Sam Winchester said yes to Lucifer in Detroit nearly two years ago, Dean Winchester is becoming the man he didn’t ever want to be, and Castiel is barely recognizable. Some of you may ask why Sam said yes, because the brothers had tried so hard to prevent it from ever happening. But Sam had a good reason behind it.

Three years ago, when Sam asked Dean if he could come back. Asked if they could be together again, because he didn't want to be alone. Dean said no. He told him they'd be better off taking separate hemispheres, and he hung up on Sam never to answer that phone again. Sam lost count of how many times he called, left messages, texts, everything. He went out of his way to try and contact Dean, just to hear his voice again, but Dean avoided him like the plague. After all of that disappointment, and abandonment, Sam felt he wasn't considered family anymore just because of what was in his blood. With no where left to turn, Lucifer was able to prey upon him easily, and play into his emotions. He offered him the comfort he sought, along with the support and love Dean had taken away. He offered him redemption, and a chance at revenge. Sam said yes, and he's been with Lucifer ever since.

Camp Chitaqua has recently been set up with Dean as the leader and Cas as the second in command. The survivors that are coming in are broken, scared, and just trying to figure out how to move on with their lives. What the survivors don’t know is that a few unexpected visitors from the past are about to show up…

Outside the camp is infested with Croats. There are several survivors, little camps of them searching for refuge in anyway they can find it. The camp Chitaqua is open to all survivors who can make it, but if you've been bled on by a Croat, it won't be long before you change and you'll be shot.

This is NOT an SPN only based game. Any and all fandoms are welcome and cross over is encouraged.

This is only the beginning.

For many years, the Crescent City Institute of Magic has been one of the best schools for Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States. Located in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, it has had its fair share of tragedy for such a praised and respected school. First was hurricane Katrina, which rocked New Orleans to its core, and the death of the headmaster as he helped the students evacuate.

This last school year proved to be dramatic, interesting, and terrifying for its students. Like any high school, CCI has had its fair share of the petty dramas caused by students along with the ups and downs of boarding school life. But there have been other, darker, things to worry about.

Last school year, students went missing and creatures never known before were been spotted and attacked students before being captured. There are activists out in the streets of New Orleans currently trying to alert Muggles to the presence of evil Witches and Wizards. There is also a perplexing epidemic of missing socks.

Now, with another school year beginning, no one can know for certain what lies in wait for the students of CCI. Only time will tell what will happen, but there is one thing for certain. It will be an adventure.

Crescent City Institute is looking for students to enroll in the 2011-2012 school year.

OPEN SINCE AUGUST 2010
