Welcome to The Big Easy
Welcome to New Orleans or N’awlins as the locals say. The city that never sleeps and parties ‘til it drops. But something lies hidden that many don’t find so strange, at least those in the know anyway. This party town holds a few secrets that would scare most people. Known for voodoo, hoodoo, and other dark arts this quaint little city has some things up its sleeve. Many things here do go bump in the night. The city has been rebuilt after being rocked by Hurricane Katrina, and with its old residents returning, a few things came with it.
Nola Rising is an Original Character Supernatural game based in the post Katrina city of New Orleans, Louisiana with characters from all walks of life and many races both good and bad to choose from. Players must be at least 18 years old to play because of mature content and dark themes. Maturity is a must and player participation is highly encouraged. Stop by, grab a bowl of gumbo and enjoy your stay because you’re in The Big Easy baby.

It began in March 2010. That's what the experts claim anyway and no one has been able to prove them wrong. That was when the powers first started to appear. That's when everything changed. As time went on the rumors became fact and everyone knew one undeniable fact: Superpowers are real. Mutants are real.
It's been over a year since this discovery was made and the world is still adjusting. Some consider the powers to be a blessing. Others see them as a curse. All must learn to live with them though and to live in this changing world where new challenges are arising. Those with powers must ask themselves, will they be the heroes of the future? The villains? Or will they just try to live their lives in this new world?
As for those without powers, they are left to face their own challenges. How has this changed their lives? Will they accept the newly evolved? Rejected them as freaks? Or just try to keep living their lives like always? Find out at:

This is the murder capital of America, a city with the greatest income % gap in the US, a city where street crime is rampant, whose thriving docks bring in all matter of illicit cargo, whose civic institutions are so pervasively corrupt that nobody even comments on it anymore. This is also Gotham City.
But now things are changing. For over a year now, rumors of a mysterious vigilante have begun to spread: some call him a demon from hell, others an avenging angel, others an urban legend. Some just call him the Batman. Gotham City is His city now, and for the people who live there, nothing will be the same . . .

THORFINN ROWLE Thorfinn Rowle is an overgrown school bully, painfully English rich kid, and can never play professional Quidditch again. Some would say he deserves it, bashing the other team’s seeker’s head in as he did, but bloody hell it was deemed an accident. He just missed the bludger, is all. When he isn't getting shot by police, he's babysitting Bellatrix and trying to be a better person (even if it's not always for the right reasons).

BELLATRIX LESTRANGE Bellatrix Lestrange is a fanatical powerhouse of a woman willing to do anything to bring back the Dark Lord and preserve Blood Purity. While it’s true she has poor impulse control - which results in her destroying muggle properties and accepting challenges she should have known to stay away from - Bellatrix is not always blinded by fervor. When she wishes, she can be quite articulate about her beliefs and has even devised an alternative to killing her Blood Traitor cousin.
