» It's 2011, and you're stepping into another decade. The worst thing on the horizon as far as life is concerned might be the fact that the knob who's two cubicles down from you is about to steal your promotion right from under you just when it's within your reach. Or maybe that person you never liked in Hogwarts is now your boss. Your girlfriend is itching for you to propose, because damn it, you're thirty, or almost there (even if you don't actually want to admit it), and you've been together long enough as far as she's concerned that you two should take the next step. Just as easily, you could be investing in yet another dress robe to add your closet, always the bridesmaid but never the bride. The kids are driving you just a bit crazy, you and your spouse argue too often, and the love of your life that you've never really gotten over has moved on. Then again, it could be that in the past thirteen years, you've managed to not reach even one single goal you'd initially set for yourself when you first stepped out into the world and called yourself an adult, which... probably sucks because your best mate is almost equal to the dictionary definition of success. But, you know, even still all is well, right? HA.

Year Eight

PREMISE | AVAILABLE | HELD | F.A.Q

Voldermort was killed on May 8, 1998. The world has been picking up the pieces and attempting to move on. Severus Snape didn’t perish in battle but was taken captive as a prisoner. When tried in front of Auror’s and the newly elected Minister of Magic Amos Diggory. He was acquitted of his suspected crimes when he showed them the instructions Dumbledore left for him. The memory also showed that Dumbledore was dying slowing from a dark curse and what Severus did was a kindness in the end.

Minerva McGonagall was appointed Headmistress of Hogwarts and let Snape take back his post as potions master. During the summer of 1998 they repaired Hogwarts and opened it back up in September 1998. Letters went out to all students that would have completed their 7th year telling them they would have to come back and finish if they wanted to take a ministry job. They didn’t have to return but it would benefit them if they did.

Year Eight is a Post-War game focusing on character development. It will focus on how the students are doing after the war and how they can band together to get through it. Also they’ve added a Therapist to their staff for students who need them.

Game opens with ten approved applications.
Most Wanted: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Pansy Parkinson, and many many more.

God’s having a good day.

It’s made him feel benevolent, made him feel like giving out some second chances.

Especially to those who screwed up the first time round.

Dean and Sam Winchester have always, for the most part, served him well. But their mistakes have been huge and numerous. They’re first in line for that second chance.

Ab Initio is a panfandom game primarily set in the Supernatural universe. The game will start with episode one of Supernatural and any/all characters who have ever appeared in the show are welcome to join in, regardless of when they appeared.

Premise

A mysterious and infinitely wealthy man who simply goes by the name Chief is offering scholarships to Japan's best middle school tennis clubs and flying them to a tennis camp resort on a remote island in the pacific ocean west of Japan. Chief, being the fanatical tennis fan that he is, not to mention tenacious, has asked these spirited young gentlemen to stay with him on the island solely for his entertainment. He expects to see great tennis matches

Don't worry boys, Chief hopes to make all of you better tennis players, while also making you feel right at home. In fact you should be grateful, the resort is accommodating in every way, with newly furnished dorms, restaurants featuring all of your favorite foods, a shopping center with the latest in fashion and tennis gear, brand spanking new tennis courts with enough room for all of the teams to practice, a gym to meet all of your fitness and training needs, and plenty of beach and bike trails to have a fun time with your friends. One more thing, anyone who joins Chief and the others on the island still get to go to school--everyone will be in the same school, taking the same classes, and participating in the same monthly activities. Oh yes, participation is mandatory. Hold on. We're forgetting one thing, tournaments will take place over the span of two months, with plenty of matches. Tennis is Chief's favorite sport after all, he needs plenty of opportunities to watch, especially since he's gone through the trouble of giving scholarships to the best players.

Chief has few rules, other than don't upset the boss. The easiest way to do that is trying to leave, so here's a warning Oh, it might also be good to mention that he has a private security force to make sure fights don't get out of hand, but that'll only be in extreme circumstances.

TeniPuri Stew

TeniPuri Stew is a Prince of Tennis roleplay community, canon and post series, with a twist. For the boys it's tennis camp meets school and house arrest. The only rule is "Don't try to leave the island," if that very simple rule isn't broken life will be spectacular, and dare we say fun. The boys schedules will be chalk full of practice and training time, tennis is the most important thing about the resort camp after all. This game is slash friendly, because it's Prince of Tennis, because mature themes are bound to be explored, mods ask that no applicant be under 16. Most importantly, have fun.

Hogwarts, meet the Ministry.

With the latest orders from the Ministry, the structure of the Prefect system at Hogwarts was the first change: Prefects have been paired by year and house, forming a team which cannot assign detentions or take house points without consulting one another. It was from this new policy that the Inquisitorial Squad was reborn: a student-run club designed to train interested students in Ministry issues and conflict resolution. At Hogwarts, things are orderly, organized, and above all, fair - or are they?

Prefects are finding new ways to abuse their powers and control others. Students retaliate in their own ways, bringing personal issues before the Inquisitorial Squad, treating it more like a Hogwarts' version of the Wizengamot than a wizarding Model UN club. A secret society runs amok in the student underground, their activities and intentions mysterious and seemingly neutral -- for now.

In a socially revolutionary game, the members of Absit Invidia invite you to join the new generation of wizards and witches as they return to Hogwarts, the war of their parents forgotten. Their new challenge? The battles of everyday life as a young magician; struggling to make friendships, remember charms and pass classes in the face of adjusted policies and countless possibilities.
