These are just a few of the individual teams who stand up for those
who cannot stand up for themselves. They fight megalomaniacal
dictators, mutants who want to see mutants superior over humans, world
devouring beings, terrorist organizations and sometimes they even
fight each other.
Marvel Legends is a roleplaying game that deals heroes and villains in
the entire Marvel Universe. While we gladly accept applications for
X-Men and Avengers, we encourage applications for Eternals, Defenders,
Inhumans, Asgardians, and other characters off the beaten path. The
Marvel Universe is a very big place and we would love to see
characters from all areas.

the gist
Think of any long-gone deity from mythology. Imagine they once truly existed. Now imagine that they aren't truly gone but instead their essence lives on, is reincarnated inside of that guy who sits next to you on the bus every day. Or Maureen from Accounting. Or maybe even you. They could be anyone, young or old, male or female, any race, anyone.
The old deities once existed, once walked the Earth, and mortals trembled at their names. Long ago, they each slowly faded out, their existence only remembered as fables and tales. During this decline, one deity gathered up and called upon his or her last reserves of power and influence to create a reprieve, of sorts, for them all. They would find their essence, their souls if you will, not dissipated amongst the matter of the Universe but instead reborn inside a mortal body. They would be mortal, yes, their power would be greatly diminished, yes, and they might not even remember what they once were, but they would at least exist. |

This is a perilous time for every witch and wizard, no matter whether they have already chosen a loyalty or resist getting any more involved than they absolutely must. As the Centaurs read in the fires and stars, the time between two wars ended many months ago, and now as the winter holidays draw to a close and lies are spoken just as often and as acceptably as truth, witches and wizards across Britain and beyond will find their character tested as they face the troubles of outright war. The moderators are seeking players eager to write collaboratively with one another, who want a highly active yet short-term game where they can richly bring a character or two fully to life during some of their most defining moments. Could this be you? We'll welcome any kinds of holds of course, but in particular we are looking for Weasleys, Death Eaters, and other non-student characters. If the egg's shell does not break, the chick will die without being born. We are the chick; the egg is the world. If the world's shell does not break, we will die without being born. Break the world's shell! For the sake of revolutionizing the world!
They say that there is a secret arena somewhere in Ohtori Academy. From there, and only from there, you can see a castle hanging suspended in the sky, a castle that nobody has ever been inside. They also say that, on some afternoons, select students gather there, take up swords, and fight against each other for something incredible. Something eternal. Something miraculous. The power to bring about the world's revolution. Of course, that's just a rumor. Isn't it?
Raison de la Rose is a game set in the universe of Revolutionary Girl Utena. It is set after the end of the 39-episode anime and the semi-sequel theatrical film; it posits an Ohtori Academy that exists after Anthy and Utena leave it behind and move on to the next plane of existence. Whatever that is. Most of the familiar faces from Utena's story have also moved on, free from the guilt and karmic blockages that kept them at the Academy. And who replaces them? Who are the new class of students, duelists, rose brides, and other assorted victims?
That's entirely up to you.
This game is about a cast of original characters who have been selected to compete in the next incarnation of the duel games at Ohtori. They have been recruited, once again, by the Ends of the World; they have been promised the power to revolutionize the world––and their heart's desire––should they win.

100AD
It has been nearly a hundred years since Jesus walked the Earth, a hundred years since God took offense at the man who was to become known as his son-. He was furious when he discovered he was a fallen angel, pretending to be human. An Angel who had transplanted memories into a family and a villiage of people so he would have a backstory. An Angel who was doing what he wanted, that went against the rules and regulations that Heaven functioned with.
A hundred years since Saetan took delight in God's fury and started a war between Heaven and Hell.
2010
Today, the war is still waging between Heaven and Hell. It has esculated in fury and has left not one Angel or Demon untouched by it. The only people who remain unaware of the war being faught around them are the Humans of Earth.
Except that is about to change.
Saetan, has cast his eyes onto the Human Race as a way to win the war against God and Heaven. A way to end this once and for all but God won't allow that to happen. Instead he sends his own people to Earth to go against the ones Saetan sent, ones to get the Humans to help him.
With the war spilling over to Earth and the Humans caught in the crossfire of the war, the question is what will happen now? Will they accept that Heaven and Hell are real? Will they participate in the war? If so which side? Will they stand united against Heaven and Hell or will they be split into sides of who to support?
Only time will tell.
