SALUS
Everyone knew it was coming. The end of the world as we knew it. Great care is being taken to protect the living. The newly formed world government, consisting of leaders from several of the great nations, have worked together to create Salus, a home for the survivors of what they may as well declare the apocolypse.
But something doesn't add up. People go missing for days at a time and then return as if nothing was wrong. One day, they'll wake up changed...but it never lasts long.
Through it all, the residents of Salus are surviving. They're socializing, creating, and falling in love. Despite all they've gone through and are going through still, they're living. But the question remains: are they truly being sheltered by 'the good guys'?

A Sleeping World
What happens if there were people falling 'asleep' around you. They aren't truly asleep, closer to dead actually but they aren't. They are still alive, yet they are staying like that for years at a time.
You don't know why that is happening or who will be next?
Then the next thing you know you are 'asleep'. Your body is lying where you were but your spirit? It's in the realm of the dead, except your body lives. Here you meet people from different world, different universes but their stories of how they got there are just about the same as yours.
You find yourself completely healed of all your problems but you retain your special abilities and powers. Except you can't hold anything. Problematic for some, others not.
A Sleeping World is a panfandom game based on the Gaurdian Cycle books by Julia Gray. It is set to open on June 18.

Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries.
The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust.
It's war, but no one seems to know it.
Set seventy years after his initial take over in 2000, the new millennium, some people still hold hope for the future, but some have given up entirely.
The game officially began May 1, 2010.
Most wanted: Amycus Carrow, Hermione Granger, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, Parvati Patil, Rabastan Lestrange, Rodolphus Lestrange, Trio-era characters, Weasleys (but Molly and Ginny), and many more. |

walking side by side with death, the devil mocks their every step they choose the path where no one goes they hold no quarter |
May 13th, 2010, is a significant day in history. Significant, at least, in that absolutely nothing changed. The sky did not cloud over with smoke, no global pandemics spread from continent to continent, and, most importantly, the world as we know it did not end. Most of humanity will never realize the significance of that date; they will go on to live their lives, unaware of just how close they came to total annihilation.
But those few who were aware of what was barreling toward them with no hope of stopping are left to wonder, Now what? With the apocalypse stopped, the things that went bump in the night have gone quiet, but the peace won't last.
Because it's not over. It was never over. Lucifer escaped his prison, but he wasn't the only thing. Now the dead are rising all over, human and demon and angel alike, bringing unexpected allies and long forgotten enemies back into the game. With Sam Winchester worse than dead, and Dean all but retired, saving the world has fallen to the rest of them, the other hunters. The question is, can they stop the apocalypse once and for all?
No Quarter is a Supernatural-verse game, set following the events of the season five finale. All canon characters are available for play, but the primary focus here is not on the Winchesters' story; this story is about the rest of them. |
