X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG  Theresa Cassidy: A resident at the school since her early teens, until recently Terry has made Xavier's - and the X-Men - her life. Fiery and passionate, Terry's relationships with her father, Sean Cassidy and her young husband, Bobby Drake, have always been tempestuous and marked by long separations. Following her completion of her college degree, Terry relocated to Cassidy Keep to join Bobby and hopefully pursue a career in Interpol like her father. Whether her plans and her marriage succeed is yet to be seen, but she knows she always has a place to return to, especially now Bobby has returned to the X-Men.
X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference.
Following a wave of departures of many of our long-standing players - after all, six years is a long time in one game! - X-Project is focussing our advertising towards filling some of our unplayed characters and available NPCs. We will still look at applications for new characters, but our preference is for applications for socks.
Wanted especially are players for our orphaned X-Men characters. From founding members Cyclops and Phoenix, to veterans like Colossus, Jetstream and Banshee, to newer recruits such as Siryn, Havok and Roulette, we have X-Men galore!
Character histories range from the proverbial barely-played blank slate to the in-depth and rich history, loaded with established relationships to ease into the game with. To help give you an idea of each character, we have a series of "cards" for each available character/NPC.

Welcome to Unfinished Tales, the stories of the fourth age of Men. The shadow of Sauron has fallen, and the peoples of Middle-Earth pick up the pieces. An unknown darkness rises in the East and to combat this darkness the Halls of Mandos have opened letting out heroes with no memory of evil times. The elves who were to depart into the West postpone their journeys to help the Men who struggle with long-sleeping evils. This is the day to shine a light into the encroaching darkness - and age for strength and for glory. Will you not rise to determine the fate of Middle-Earth?
Unfinished Tales is a Tolkien-based game set after the War of the Ring. We aim to further the tales at the end of The Return of the King as well as in the Fourth Age through the use of journals and AOL instant messenger chat. The quest for excellent roleplaying and a friendly community in the Tolkien fandom is one that never ends.
Unfinished Tales seeks to gather the excellent roleplayers of the internet realm and gather them in a friendly, diplomatic environment where they can explore characters that Tolkien created. There are many stories Unfinished by Tolkien and at Unfinished Tales we seek to explore perhaps some of the histories behind the songs that might have risen in heraldry of glory.

The Gods have been given a second chance: Prove that they can rule over a city without destroying everything they come into contact with, without bringing forth chaos or using its residence as playthings, and they will be given back their thrones, their duties, their places on earth, in the sea and underneath it all. After thousands of year spent suffering in Tartarus, they are ready to redeem themselves. They want to go home. They won’t make the same mistakes with these people, as they did with Helen and Paris, with Semele and countless others. They can not afford it. They were not meant for eternal imprisonment.
You were minding your own business, going about everyday life in your world, when suddenly, they pluck you away without warning. You’re human and you’ve never raised a hand against anybody. You’re a vampire and you’ve spent the last century in mourning. You’re an alien. You’re a superhero. You don’t know what you are and it doesn’t matter. Because they still want you and they’ve taken you. Gaia and Prometheus have stolen you away and they’ve dropped you into a city that has everything. There is no way out.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, two minor deities gave birth to a daughter. Unfortunately for them, their daughter had a remarkable skill - she could compel the deities around her into doing her bidding, simply by speaking a command.
This, of course, couldn't be allowed to stand, so the gods and goddesses did the only thing they could - they banished Lizzy to a desolate corner of a deserted planet, leaving her alone in Echo Point.
She didn’t have to be alone. She was a goddess, after all. So Lizzy began to reach across time, space, and reality to draw some friends for herself. At least, they were meant to be friends. Her voice had a little more power than she’d realized with mortals, and her first ‘friend’ wound up being a slave.
Lizzy realized this really wasn’t a bad thing. So she began to draw in more people until she had herself a little society. While she wanted them to build her an empire, she realized they’d have to build their society first. So she appointed some leaders and pointed them at the ruins of the former civilization, and they began to rebuild it.
Time wore on. Lizzy didn’t age, but her slaves did. Eventually, the first wave of them died, leaving her alone once more in an otherwise fully functioning society. There was power, primitive though it was. Plumbing, fire, shelters with sturdy walls and functioning doors.
There was a place to put all her slaves, but no more slaves. So once again, Lizzy began to reach across time and space and reality to gather the next wave …

In 2009 Torchwood was broken. With their members disbanded the Rift was left unchecked and gradually the threats which lay in wait began to come through. Worried, the Government which had essentially destroyed the team re-made it, opening it a year after the disaster in 2010.
It is now 2020. A new generation of Torchwood is protecting the rift and city of Cardiff. Plucked from their various crews to defend against the potential dangers the Rift can produce, the team must band together if they are to be successful in protecting the Earth against the new, advanced, even more violent opposition.
