It started with a group of heroes coming together to save the world to form a team called the Avengers. A hero from World War II was found frozen in ice and thawed out. A group of five teens came together to help one man achieve his dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. One man used technology to create a suit of armor to help the greater good. A blind lawyer in Hell's Kitchen donned red spandex and tried to clean up the streets. A surgeon discovered the mystical arts and became Sorcerer Supreme. A group for four brave souls raced for the stars and were forever changed.
Slowly more and more heroes began to emerge.
The threats these heroes faced were varied and many. Megalomaniacal dictators, powerful mutants who wanted to see mutants superior over humans, world devouring beings, and terrorist organizations were just some of the threats they faced.
Time continued to move on.
Somehow, our heroes and villains found time to have families when they weren't saving the world or trying to take it over. Superhuman parents, for the most part, had superhuman offspring, and mutations continued to appear in the children of baseline humans. The new generation of heroes and villains has been born, and are beginning to come into their own.
Marvel Next Generation is a roleplaying game that deals with the next generation of heroes and villains in the entire Marvel Universe. While we gladly accept applications for X-Men and Avengers, we encourage applications for Eternals, Defenders, Inhumans, Asgardians, and other characters off the beaten path. While it deals with the next generation of heroes and villains, the setting is set in the present.
We have a strong preference for players who are 18 and over, due to the themes often addressed in this RP. We have over 60 active player characters in the game and have many plots running at any given time. We accept Original Characters as well as canon characters, adult or children. |

I'm working on a big RP project, but part of it is a Lexicon of terms we use in RP. I need your help! Post any Rp Vocabulary you don't see here and define it. I'm trying to make a reference for Text-Based RPers but I want all walks of Story Form, not just the sides I see.

Everybody has a secret.
The year is 1999. The war's over ... right?
Everyone has a secret, and members of the wizarding world are no exception. These carefully kept guilty secrets, hidden away in the darkest corners of hearts, begin to come to light when the Death Eaters are suspected of making a resurgence in the year after Voldemort's demise. Rebuilding in a time of political turmoil, what will the people of the wizarding world choose? Will they allow the Ministry to arrest and interrogate any and all suspected Death Eaters? Will they speak out against the tactics being used? Will some try to exact revenge by turning in those who've wronged them? Or will those secrets have people treading softly for fear of being arrested themselves?
Guilt by Association is a post-Deathly Hallows, non-epilogue compliant RPG. GbA is a game that encourages character development with the added benefit of a plot arc, as well as game-wide events that lend to personal plotlines.

The year is 1137
Upon the death of Duke William X of Aquitaine, his daughter, Eleanor, was quickly married to King Louis VII of France. Two great families, both descendants of Charlemagne, were united on 25th of July, 1137. Two days later King Louis VI of France perished, leaving the young couple King and Queen of France.
Now the newly weds have to adjust to their new position as well as adjust to marriage. But will the pious Louis who had wanted to become a priest, come to love his wife? Or will Eleanor find herself finding the comfort and love that she lacks in her marriage in the man she her father and she had wanted to marry? Will Eleanor be overpowered by France's greedy hands, losing Aquitaine? Or will she find an inner strength she did not know?
What will happen to the nobles and people of Aquitaine who are accustomed to their rural, though not barbaric ways? Will they adjust to the uniting of France and Aquitaine, or will there be unrest among the barons?
The fate of France and Aquitaine are up to you. Which side will you be on?
