[24 Oct 2009|03:21pm]
The year is 1978. The war against the Death Eaters has been boiling under the surface for almost a decade now. It was little things at first, easy to ignore, escalating to bigger attacks, bigger crimes, and of course, retaliation. Now the country is about ready to tear itself apart as the Ministry steps up their attempts to defeat Voldemort and no one is really sure who they should trust, if they should trust anyone at all. Who can you turn to when your own government is as likely to kill you as the masked criminals roaming the streets?

Even the muggles are starting to notice. Attacks in muggle places are becoming more frequent, the Death Eaters getting more bold. And everyone is asking the same question.

How long before it's open war?

The First War is a Post-Warts, MWPP era RPG. We are canon through November 1st, 1978 and then we diverge, allowing the characters to tell their own stories.

Currently we are most interested in: Order Members, Death Eaters, and MLE Employees

[We recommend using Firefox for the best viewing experience.]

The war to end all wars; that was what they called it as they faced the darkness for the final time, followers of the light joined hand in hand. Months of countless struggles bore on until all pressures came to a head at the Battle of Hogwarts. And in the events of one night, the course of history was changed for the rest of eternity. Lord Voldemort and his regime of Death Eaters were put down for good - and the Wizarding world celebrated in such style that even no Seer could ever have imagined. The light was finally breaking through the clouds.

Seven years later in 2004, Wizarding England stands at the cusp of a new Quidditch season. With the darkest ages of the Wizarding world behind them, witches and warlocks alike are prepared to leave their troubles at the door of every stadium - whether they support the Harpies, the Wanderers or Puddlemere United, magic users across the globe are united by one thing: their obsession. Tabloids spill over with gossip, fans gather in the streets, and posters of nearly every player sell out in stores across the countries. Professional Quidditch players are stalked by fans and paparazzi alike, whether in the pursuit of an autograph or a juicy story - there is no such thing as privacy in such a career. And above all else, every member of every British team intends to do one thing this season: make it to the National League.

In a new and revolutionary game, Quidditch League brings the lighter side back to the Wizarding world as they move away from the all too recent darkness. Compliant with Deathly Hallows canon, seven years has been more than enough to allow the Dark Mark to slip into forgotten territory, and instead for the Golden Snitch to flutter back into the focus of Wizarding England. Join the thirteen teams of Great Britain & Ireland as they battle their way toward the National League of the greatest sport ever invented - Quidditch.

Game opens in NOVEMBER.

A seriously cracked out and stupidly active game.

Canon Future Gen goes back in time to 1996 to find that the stories they grew up hearing from their parents have all been changed. The Blacks run the Ministry of Magic and Voldemort disappeared in 1980. Nothing is the way it's supposed to be.

REVELATIONS: next-gen, plot heavy, needs you. [24 Oct 2009|04:59pm]

In 2020, the world as the worlds knew it ended.

After the wizarding world was unveiled, the muggles of the world reeled in surprise. Over a year has past since the Revelation, and Great Britain is struggling to put itself back together. While killer riots rage in Ireland and elsewhere, the students of Hogwarts live in relative safety. Isolated from the wider controversy, these young people are part of a generation like none before them. Their petty squabbles, friendships and larger controversies will shape the direction of the wizarding world to come. Torn between the need to protect themselves and their own moral codes, the students of Hogwarts must choose whether to embrace the Dark Arts and fight for their survival in this deadly new world, or to try for peace in the face of extreme danger.

Opening in 6 days, Revelations begins at the tail end of October 2021, with a masquerade organized by the Head Boy and Girl, anxious to defuse the mounting tensions that have been building between those students who are ready for war and their fellows who believe in a peaceful approach. While Hogwarts dances, a secretive group will go through the school, showing their fellows exactly what they think of the Headmistress' ban on the Dark Arts. November will be steeped in controversy and suspicion as the Headmistress and her anti-Dark Arts Committee tear the school apart to find out who perpetrated the crime. Some students are horrified. Some just want the whole thing to blow over. Some think it didn't go nearly far enough. Now accepting applications for students. Sitewide plot charted through June. PROLOGUE

You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you on edge and makes you feel uncomfortable.

It doesn't stop.

Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or maybe they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you.

The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands.

They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you used to be and are possibly becoming will need to choose.

Fact: 1 in 1,000 people has a natural immunity to the Fury Virus. That means in the world 6,706,999 people are immune. 30,382 in the US. 4,301 in Colorado. 2,506 in Denver...

In July of 2012 a pathogen that came to be known as The Fury Virus was released by a cult of religious fanatics who believed they were destined to do so in order to bring about the apocalypse. Their goal was to purge the Earth of sinners, people unworthy to stand upon it. Only the righteous would remain, those that had earned their place in the new world.

Everything did not go according to plan. The virus was uncontrollable. No continent, no country, no city was spared. The infection spread everywhere, mercilessly and indiscriminately killing saints and sinners alike . In the end, only a small percentage of people were left alive, but they were not the righteous. They'd simply won the genetic lottery, blessed with immunity and cursed with the burden of watching the world fall apart around them.

Then there were the others, another small percentage of the population, who didn't die from the virus. They were changed though. Changed into beings made up purely of madness and rage. They killed without thought or hesitation. Those that survived the virus without succumbing to madness were now forced to fight for the lives they were trying to rebuild. The creatures, those that were changed, were called Eaters, due to their insatiable appetite for living flesh.

One group of survivors made the drive up Mount Evans, to the University of Denver's Meyer-Womble Observatory, away from the packs of Eaters that roamed the cities and the plain. There, they started a new life, building a new home known as Haven. For the last eight months, they've worked tirelessly, building walls to keep their new home safe. What they can't make or grow on their own, they raid from the mostly empty city of Denver. The Eaters still come, roving bands looking for flesh to sate their hunger. The residents of Haven must fight for their lives and work together to survive.

It's known by many as "The Longest Night." Due to a gross lack in security, on June 21, 2001, an innocent Summer Solstice celebration was mistaken for a congregation of "devil worshipers" by an over zealous group of religious Muggles. Twenty-seven wizards and witches were killed that night, enough to breed fear into the Wizarding Society.

The Ministry was quick to fire the employees responsible for the mistake and located all the Muggles involved and wiped their minds clean. But for a growing political group called Isolationists, these actions were simply not enough. Muggles posed a dangerous threat on the Wizarding World and we must do whatever it takes to stop them.

Even if it means isolating themselves and destroying any and all links to the Muggle World. Even if it could unknowingly destroy future generations.

WANTED: Isolation RPG is looking for an active and dedicated group of writers, interested in creating multi-dimensional characters, well developed relationships and complex plots. If this sounds like the game for you, please click on the below links for more information.

Gameplay begins October 31st!
