looking for some psls [17 Oct 2009|02:48pm] Check the Journal! I prefer to play females, but I'll play guys if the plot is really good. I'm picky about the guys I play. I wouldn't mind a 3way psl or a small group. I do everything from fluff to angst to smut and everything in between. I prefer 3rd person threading, but am open to other ways. What I'm in the mood for right now: **HARRY POTTER: Bellatrix against one or more of the following - Rodolphus, Rabastan, Voldemort, Barty Jr or Lucius. Ginny against Harry, Tom Riddle or Draco. Hermione against Ron or Viktor. (I would probably prefer a dark line for this fandom.) **HEROES: Daphne/Matt, Elle/Sylar or Peter, Eden/anyone, Niki/Peter, Charlie/Hiro or Caitlin/Peter. Obviously they'd all be AU lines. *LOST: Claire, Penny, Juliet, Charlotte. ***SUPERNATURAL: Any of the girls against Sam or Dean (possibly Castiel). *TRUE BLOOD: Amy, Jessica, the Queen, Sookie. Life has gone back to normal for the survivors; if being a Wizard was normal to begin with. But then again has life really gone back to normal for everyone? The Trio and their friends have children of their own now. Have they taken after their parents? Are they the complete opposite? It's now their turn to create their own stories. This is a Third Generation, Canon based game. It picks up two years after the Deathly Hallows Epilogue. Didn't like the Epilogue? That's ok, neither did I, but here's your chance to create your own Epilogue. [17 Oct 2009|09:41pm] EVEN FURTHER AWAY a next gen fairy tale experience THE STORY | CHARACTERS | TAKEN PBS | RULES | FAQ | APPLY Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away---oh wait, you've heard this one before? That's no surprise. We all grew up with fairy tales. And these stories of dastardly witches and wizards, of beautiful princes and princesses and crafty fairy folk are just that---stories. But what if they're not? What if, in an actual kingdom that was further away than you could ever imagine to get to, there were people living out the tales you heard every night before bed? And what if their mothers and fathers told stories of far off lands much like our own world? They probably wouldn't believe that this place exists, just as we couldn't fathom that there's a world where Cinderella really met her Prince Charming, and true love's kiss could really wake a sleeping beauty from a deathlike sleep. But that place does exist. In a world parallel to ours, in a place that no magic but what we cast in our dreams could get us to, the characters of these fairy tales are real; living and breathing but slowly fading away. Yes, that world is waning and all because the one thing that fuels it and keeps its residents alive is in short supply. That one thing is belief. And as our belief in the magical fades away, so will all that is magical. But there is hope. There is a family who, through ancient magic, has always been able to travel to and communicate with the other world. No one has ever been able to explain why the two sons of Grimm were connected to the land of fairy tales and enchantment. But it has been this way since before Jacob and Wilhelm began recording the stories of things they knew and heard from far far away. In their descendants, Rolf and Edwin Grimm, who have inherited this magnificent ability, lays the only hope for the people of the fairy tale world. Even Further Away is a social, thread based rp game set at a fictional Grimm Academy where the children of popular fairy tale characters have come to live because their world is dying. Descendants of the famous Brothers Grimm have found a way, through limited magic, to bring the next generation [ie Snow White's children etc] to our world in order to save them from theirs. Because the land of fairy tales is so different from our own, a boarding academy has been founded by the brothers so that these children can smoothly transition, and learn about the ways of our world in order to survive in it. The game will center around the students, their lives at the academy, and their interactions with each other all pushed along by some zany subplot. Going Strong 6 Months! [17 Oct 2009|10:12pm] Marvel Universe You know many of the characters. Hulk, Iron Man, Spiderman, Wolverine, Elektra, Daredevil... they've become more popular in the last decade due to the rise of the Superhero movie, but they've been around for decades more. Captain America has been an icon since World War II. Many of us grew up on the Spiderman and X-Men cartoons. The Marvel Universe is where the characters of Marvel Comics exist. They are powerful heroes, but more importantly, they are fascinating characters! This Universe Marvel Team Up exists in an alternate Universe, based on the Marvel Universe. Marvel has the Ultimate Universe for some of the alternate stories they want to tell. The purpose of this Universe is to condense decades of complex and re-written backstory into a version of history that allows for the concept of the game, but also for fresh character interaction. The story takes place at Xavier's Institute, which receives grants from S.H.I.E.L.D. to educate young powered individuals and to teach them control of said abilities. The Professors and students (High School and Jr. College) are all famous Marvel Characters. Their histories may be a bit altered and abridged, but they are still the same characters at heart. team_up has been running for 6 mos and just had a major sweep, so we're looking for some active people to fill some rolls. REVELATIONS: next gen, plot heavy, needs you. [17 Oct 2009|10:44pm] In 2020, the world as the worlds knew it ended. What began as scientific confusion in Japan erupted into the worldwide revelation of the Wizarding world to the Muggle community. The Pope began using the full force of the Roman Catholic Church to destroy it. War erupted in Argentina, Japan, Zimbabwe. Religious riots overtook Ireland, Italy, Spain. Government killing and recruitment of Witches and Wizards took off in North Korea, China, Russia. Activist groups sprung up on the Northern coasts of the United States overnight. Relocation to Antarctica was proposed. Multinational cooperation was urged. Muggle citizens the world over were shocked to learn that Abracadabra was not a spell, and that the closest thing to it was the biggest taboo the Wizarding world had. Revelations begins at the tail end of October 2021, with a masquerade organized by the Head Boy and Girl, anxious to defuse the mounting tensions that have been building between those students who are ready for war and their fellows who believe in a peaceful approach. While Hogwarts dances, a secretive group will go through the school, showing their fellows exactly what they think of the Headmistress' ban on the Dark Arts. November will be steeped in controversy and suspicion as the Headmistress and her anti-Dark Arts Committee tear the school apart to find out who perpetrated the crime. Some students are horrified. Some just want the whole thing to blow over. Some think it didn't go nearly far enough. Now accepting applications for students. Sitewide plot charted through June.
