Seven years ago, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell, finally bringing an end to his vicious reign of power and terror. Yet, the war did not end with his death. For years, the Wizarding World has worked to repair the damages left during the aftermath of war. Emotional burdens have yet to fully heal, too many lives destroyed, families torn apart, and friends lost. Hogwarts was left in rubble, unable to reopen for years, the damage too great, endless sweat and tears shed as people worked to rebuild the foundations to give their children a future. Death Eaters still roam free, cunningly avoiding even the best Aurors, leaving many in fear that another war will be on the horizon.

As things begin to resemble some semblance of normalcy, an old follower of Voldemort is in the wings, plotting his revenge, gathering the remaining Death Eaters and new followers, planning to unleash a new war, wanting to finish his master’s vision. In the Ministry, a serial killer is murdering powerful political figures, leaving everyone pointing fingers and letting things slip through the cracks. Fenrir Greyback has escaped from Azkaban, butchering countless individuals as he runs from Aurors, gathering and making new werewolves in his travels, building an army to strike against the Ministry. Vampires have demanded equality for their race, threatening to reveal themselves to Muggles if the Ministry does not comply with their wishes and their campaign has given life to Hermione Granger’s political ambitions for equality to all magical creatures. The Prophet, with it’s new Editor-In-Chief, Katie Bell, now reports real news and is angering people throughout the Ministry for it’s blunt facts, politics, and critique of the Ministry.

All the while, the Muggle World is at war in the Middle East, affecting the Wizarding World as it heightens.

The entire world is in complete chaos.

Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt is determined to rebuild the Wizarding Community into a vision of peace and has called forth some of the best Aurors from around the world in an effort to clean up the United Kingdom, determined to capture and imprison the remaining Death Eaters and send a clear message of constant vigilance to those seeking to do more harm. Many are unhappy with the Minister’s plans, many seeking to replace him and other important individuals, some willing to go to great lengths to achieve their goals.

The Wizarding World is torn between fully recovering and moving forward and taking two steps back, arriving right back where they left off seven years ago. A new war is on the brink. Which side will you choose?

Since June 06, 2009, Recuperatio has been an active, canon, non-epilogue compliant game taking place in 2005. We seek active, well-developed writers interested in plot and character development to help us tell our story as it unfolds.

There's a reason they call it "The Hub of the Universe."

For all its history, culture, and highlights, Boston is a bit of a dud. Though it's a major metropolitan area it almost seems a little too Old World, a little too traditional. It's boring, and that's the way they like it. It's called sleight of hand, distracting you with the right hand so you'll never know what the left is doing. Since their arrival in 1775, the supernatural beings that call Boston home have been carefully diverting attention away from themselves, but not everyone appreciates peace. A new school year is starting at the prestigious Boston Conservatory for Supernatural Inquiry, and the Church of Clear Sight is gearing up for the Hunt that coincides yearly with the influx of supernatural beings into the city.

Nestled in the quiet wizarding town of Arcady, WA, Coats Academy for Witchcraft and Wizardry is one of the premier American schools for magical education. Located along a scenic coast line, Coats has everything a student could wish for located right on campus. An engaging curriculum strives for academic excellence, and the sports teams and clubs encourage students to take an active role in the social scene. But, of course, there's no end to the trouble some students manage to create with magic!

Coats Academy is a character-driven, OC Harry Potter game set in the USA. It's a boarding school where anything can happen, and almost everything does! A detailed setting sets this game apart from the rest, and frequent Events encourage board-wide interaction, while still allowing players room to create.

Game play starts on September 3rd, but we're accepting applications now for both students and faculty!

In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded.

The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five.

It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known.

It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing.



The same lab that developed the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty.

The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by administering it to everyone as a vaccine at doctor's appointments. To further insure that the population will continue to grow and to 'usher in a new era of life', a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law.

Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive.

The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

A Post-Hogwarts Era Game
PREMISE
In 1999, the Ministry of Magic decides to offer criminals an opportunity to reform and lead a "normal" life: they are branded with a mark on their wrist and are not allowed to use magic—their wands either destroyed or locked away in the Ministry. They cannot apparate or travel outside the U.K.; work a Ministry assigned job; and they are under constant watch by the Ministry of Magic, losing most of their rights to privacy (including the limitation of how many other people they can be with at any given time).

Because of their status, they are also assigned housing which is regulated and watched on a regular basis—they can live as a regular wizarding citizen, but not without the cost of constant Ministry eyes on them. They have privacy at home, but the Ministry is required to know where they are at all times.

Those opposing the Ministry Reformation Plan turned restless, feeling as though their safety and the safety of muggle society became compromised despite the Ministry's efforts to control the criminals who chose to reform. Even though Death Eaters are believed to be powerless, especially without their wands, the Ministry, the Order of the Phoenix, and others struggle with the new reform. Wizarding society has begun to break down...

Ever miss the old days playing one of your favorite RP characters of all time? Ever think how much fun it would be to dust them off again? Ever find yourself scening some cracky multi-game journal post and going... what if...

Well, the time has come. Remember why you loved your favorite characters so much. Whether it's ones that never got a chance to fully shine or the one you just never got over not playing anymore, [info]remembrall_rp is the place to be.

A crossover game that's all Harry Potter, all people you've already played, but set in the wacky soap opera setting of Unhappily Ever. This is where unicorns make crop circles high on Gillyweed and owls randomly attack their owners. It's the kind of place where it just makes sense to have Fred come back from the dead or Hermione to have no idea why that really old Ron thinks they're supposed to be married but gee that Draco Malfoy is really kind of hot. We're searching for a good sized character base of enthusiastic, active players, who want to put the fun back in RPing again. [info]remembrall_rp will be primarily journal based, with threading encouraged but not required. Activity is expected but only because it's how a game thrives.
