In 2010 global warming began to wreak havoc on earth and its inhabitants, becoming more and more dangerous with every year that passed. Natural disasters became so frequent and so severe that entire cities were leveled and countless lives were lost. To combat the devastation, in 2020 the scientists of the world joined forces to create a solution that ultimately began the slow demise of the entire human race. By 2028 birth rates have dropped to basically nothing. For almost twenty years no children have been born on earth but in 2048 a solution was found and a new law put into place. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and thirty are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. When the bombs dropped in early 2008, it was expected that the virus would be eradicated. After all, nothing could survive the devastation of nuclear power. Nothing could possibly crawl up from the wreckage of a twisted land. That was how the United Nations justified their choice to Quarantine and abandon the United States of America – Canada and Mexico closed their borders, and the bomb was dropped. The virus burned hard under the nuclear autumn that followed, but it did not die. Nothing could stop the creatures that came out of the wasted hole of the Midwest – the Infected lived to hunt. Nothing could stop them. Or so it seemed to the rest of the world. You wake up to lull of voices. Seemingly abandoned by the rest of the world, the few who had sustained the blast began to band together. They found a common goal: Survive. Live, but not at any cost. To carry on with humanity intact, that was the only possible hope for the future of the Remaining States of America. Love faces off with sex, grades face off with parties, and truth faces off with falsities in the everyday drama at Hogwarts. However, since the Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic has been slowly working on new protective measures to prevent such an event from ever threatening Great Britain's schools again. As years have passed, new restrictive spells have been cast over the castle of Hogwarts. At the beginning of this school year, under the decree of Kingsley Shacklebolt, a radically developed charm will be cast over the entire grounds as a means to prevent the approach of evil spirits of any sort. Unbeknownst to the returning students and staff, however, this spell has a glaring flaw which has not yet been revealed; it cuts off all contact with the outside world. As students and teachers are separated from their parents, their families and the rest of Great Britain, what will they do to cope? Can they band together in support, or will they attack one another in bouts of cabin fever? A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you on edge and makes you feel uncomfortable. It doesn't stop. Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or maybe they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you. The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands. They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you used to be and are possibly becoming will need to choose.
