I’d had more than my fair share of near-death experiences;
it wasn’t something you ever really got used to.

Senior year. Graduation. War with an army of vampiric newborns. It's been a busy year for one Bella Swan and yet she doesn’t have much to complain about. She’s got Edward, her wedding, and the rest of their immortal lives to look forward to.

But Jacob’s still missing. The treaty with the Pack is still hanging by a precarious thread. And the constant threat of the Volturi still looms above their head. The battle is not over for the Cullens and while they are creatures of the night, they still need to fight to see the break of day.

Dawn’s First Light is a post-Eclipse game that will incorporate some but not all elements of Breaking Dawn. Gameplay officially begins on April 1, 2009.

PROLOGUE

You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you and edge and makes you feel uncomfortable.

It doesn't stop.

Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you.

The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands.

They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you were and are possibly becoming will need to choose.

PREMISE

You wake up to the smell of smoke.

In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.

You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.

Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.

Character I will be playing: Bill Kaulitz
Character Wanted: Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, Gustav Schafer, Manzini, Bushido
Storyline: I'm up for brianstorming! Friend lines, an ex-line, enemy line. Maybe your character could be one of Bill's frequent customers? We can figure it out. (: Bill needs more people to talk to, he's lonely. I really think having a Tom would be interesting(and amazing seeing as I love Tom), seeing as the history I made for them allows plenty of room for us to brainstorm, etc. Here's his basic background as to how he wound up as a Comfort Doll at the House of Dolls. It's taken right from the application:
Bill grew up one of two. He had a twin brother, Tom, who was everything to him. They weren't only twins, they were best friends. They were unnaturally close, but they didn't care. Everything was fine and good until their parents got divorced when they were seven years old. Their mother got custody of Tom and father got custody of Bill. Being seperated from his twin was the worst thing that could have possibly happened to Bill. He felt like a part of him was always missing after that, and there was - Tom. They didn't stay in contact. Bill and Jorg moved to the States. When Bill admitted that he was bi-sexual, Jorg, the homophobe that he was, kicked Bill out. He didn't know where Tom and Simone were located at so he couldn't get in touch with them. He lived on the streets for six months before he found The House of Dolls. It wasn't ideal, but it gave him a roof over his head and it gave him a way to make money. That's how he ended up there.
Screen Name or Livejournal account: Comment here or IM me -> breakawaybill
Is it for a RP community (if so, which one) or is it a PSL?: Community(: but I'll take a PSL if you prefer that.
Timezone State/Country: Eastern/US
Any other information you feel is important: Please be active; I mean come online more than twice a week for two minutes each. I do IM people first, but it's amazing if they find me first sometimes, too. <3 No one liners, don't take forever and a half to respond. (: If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm not the mod, but I'll do my best to answer them.

Salem, Massachusetts a town where there is some of the most history in the United States. A town that has been around since the 1600s, where humans came and settled, before turning on one another. Now, it's the year 2009 and it is home to humans and supernatural beings alike. Salem is a town where strange things happen and the things that go bump in the night really do exist. A vampire might live behind the park, a werewolf might be the one serving your coffee. Humans do not know that vampires, witches, were animals and many other beings live among them.

Unlike a lot of comms where werewolves and vampires do not get along, here in [info]harvest_moon that is a case by case basis. Your vampire can choose to get along with a werewolf, or they can choose to hate them. Come check out the life you can lead here at [info]harvest_moon where anything that you think is a myth is probably living down the street from you.
