I decided to make this community when everything else seemed to fail in the land of Harry Potter RPGs. Most mods are too elite or too anal to play with. I simply made this community to have a place to role play and to have fun. I don't care if your character is cannon or uncannon. I don't care if your posts and replies are two paragraphs or ten. None of that matters to me. It's time to have a game where the mod(s) aren't too strict and honestly don't care what's being played out as long as it's in the post Hogwarts era. One day in 2003 all mutant powers ceased to exist, mutants ceased to exist. No one knows why or how, but the mutant population take it as a hint to begin normal lives as humans.Some got married, got jobs, went to school. For six years they were treated as normal humans, until one day in 2009 the powers came back. They've been coming back slowly and without sufficient control, some don't even have theirs back. The X-men, long since disbanded are being called back for their own safety and to figure out exactly what is going on. One thing for sure is that if the Government catches wind of this, the X-men won't have just their powers to worry about anymore.
Omegas is an X-men rpg based loosely on the House of M and Decimation storyline. Play as your favorite X-man as they re-learn how to control their powers and get to the bottom of just who or what has tried to get rid of mutantkind.

PREMISE
In 2015, Valley Dynamics, a renowned global technological giant, developed bio-mechanical androids called NeohumansTM. They were hailed as a breakthrough in artificial intelligence and the next generation in computer technology, NeohumansTM became available to anyone who could afford them at the time.
Unknown to the public, around the same time that NeohumansTM were being developed, Valley Dynamics was also working on a more subtle version of bio-mechanical androids called Facsimiles that can blend seamlessly into the general population.
Now in 2020, whether it be from outside influence or internal, NeohumansTM and Facsimiles alike are experiencing glitches in their programming. Only a small number of cases have occurred so far, just small things that Valley Dynamics have managed to take care of one way or another. But something bigger is coming and no one, not even those at Valley Dynamics, knows what it is, when it will happen, and least of all why.

It all began with a strange sentient planet that had gotten lonely, and had begun to kidnap people from all times and places to keep itself company. To entertain it's 'guests', it created a world that, every so often, shifted, but always looked like some sort of resort on earth. In a rare moment of weakness, the King of the Goblins and Ruler of the Underground, Jareth, was taken unawares and brought to the Planet. What followed was an inevitable clash of egos as the powerful fae creature fought with the strange sentient planet. The battle was fierce, and the fallout completely unpredictable.
In the end, a new dimension was created, somewhere between Jareth's old home and the dimension occupied by the sentient planet. In this new land, Jareth appears to reign surpreme. But can anyone truly rule in a world that was created in such a bizarre and tumultuous way? A few people had been brought along with him in the creation of the new realm, but Jareth decided that anything the Planet could do, he could do better. With that in mind, he began to bring in people from all places and times. Very soon, those who had been brought with him would have company...
