Lord Voldemort never discovered their location and feigned his retreat. Harry grew up in a loving home. Neville was not coddled but loved. Upon entering Hogwarts, Harry learned the world was not exactly as his parents and uncles had made it out to be. Neville was pleased that everything was what he had hoped for. Present When Bartemius Crouch Senior came into office he led the largest dark wizard hunt of the century. His nets caught the blundering and the stupid but allowed the slipperiest of the Dark Lord’s followers through, including his own son. Barty Crouch Junior, under the direction of his Lord, went on to work for his father at the Ministry. At the beginning of the present school year he was inducted as the current Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Future In 1995 the world is changing. It has become a place of tension and strife. The Ministry is rife with corruption. Death Eaters lie in wait for their Lord’s return. Their day is here and now. [12 Feb 2009|02:08pm] Three weeks after the death of Albus Dumbledore, the wizarding world is still reeling - but life must go on. Business must be done, school supplies must be bought, plans must be made for how best to combat the Dark Lord, and as usual, Diagon Alley is a hotspot for wizarding activity. Its central location proves a disaster, however, when one ordinary day, the wizards currently shopping suddenly discover that they cannot leave; physical entrances are locked, Apparition is disabled, the Floo Network is down, and an invisible dome prevents travel by broomstick. Naturally, this is blamed on the Death Eaters, and through their magical journals and the owls able to slip through the cracks, the trapped wizards soon learn that they are being held hostage for the Ministry's good behaviour. Now the wizards and witches in Diagon Alley must learn to live in close quarters with each other, find ways to protect themselves from possible Death Eater attacks, and most importantly, attempt to find a way out - before there's no more world left for them to go back to. The spirit of Shakespearean Theatre lives on in Stratford, Ontario in Canada. Established in 1915, was the Stratford Liberal Arts University. The school where your favorite characters from William Shakespeare's plays enroll or teach. Tragedy has struck the school this year when the President of the University, Hamilton Prince Sr. died under mysterious circumstances during the summer. To make the it more controversial, the late President was replaced by his brother Claudius Prince, who married widow Gertrude Prince only a couple months after the tragic death. The staff are nervous to see the affect this will have on English Professor, and only son of the former President, Hamilton Prince Jr. So far the school has tried to go back to normal. The Winter Semester has just started. The winter productions will be starting rehearsals soon, and all the classes are already going underway. Soon enough, it will be midterms. The Student Union has gone through changes, since Duncan Scott was kicked out of school, leaving Nathaniel Bath to take over as President of the Student Union. Student life seems to be getting more hectic and full of stress and the Professor's lives aren't much easier. With all the controversy and strange coincidences, will they be able to make it through the year? Follow your favorite plots, or create some more drama for yourself. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing … The Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …" Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight. The. Fruitful. Project. [12 Feb 2009|08:34pm] The Fruitful Project Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up. In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded. The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five. It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known. It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing. In 2048 a solution was found The same lab that developed the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty. The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by administering it to everyone as a vaccine at doctor's appointments. To further insure that the population will continue to grow and to 'usher in a new era of life', a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world.
