Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight. In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards has begun to pull ranks, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink and the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World. [13 Jan 2009|11:41am] At the beginning of time, Earth was created. It doesn’t matter who or what made it – if some great all-powerful being thought it and it was, or that it developed for millions of years before becoming what we know now. All that matters is that Earth was. Earth supported life, and it flourished. Creatures of all size and shape were born into this universe, each with their own purpose – their own fate. Each creature knew its place – all except one. Man. Man was, at first, a friend to all creatures, but after a time Man grew greedy. They multiplied and spread across the world, dominating it, devouring, controlling and destroying as they went. One day, the Earth said to Man; “If you cannot control yourselves, then I will find ways to control you.” But Man was the ruler of all creatures and would not listen. “Man is the most powerful creature in the universe,” they said, and this made the Earth angry. Earth was never going to last us until the end of eternity. Man’s footprint upon it was large and irreparable. In its last dying days, the Earth gave to each creature – except man – new strength, new power, and a fierce desire to hunt and kill the alleged rulers of all creatures. Earth could no longer support the life of Man, and we were forced to flee. Outcast from our own crumbling planet, we searched for years amongst the stars, desperate for a new home. The year is now 675 AE. The Warren is a facility lead by General Threarah. Fiver, who possesses the abilities of a seer, has a frightening premonition that tells of doom and destruction coming to the Warren. The Threarah refuses to listen to him, and so, with a small group, his brother Hazel leads the way to freedom on the rundown ship Watership Down. The roleplay begins three weeks after the escape, and just after the arrival of Holly and Jorelle. Fiver has blurry ideas of where they need to go. Somewhere they will be safe to start their own life – a planet, far away from the rule of Frith and Rainbow Corporation and the greed and war mongering of the Elil. The trouble, however … is getting there. All the universe will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; fighter, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed. Rich with a unique blend of culture and history, it's known for its charm and more importantly, its mysticism. Even in what appears to be the most normal of towns, inhabited by the most normal kind of people, there exist ties to the occult. In Bon Chance, everyone has a certain path as each character's personality is based on an individual Tarot card. Are they a Queen or a Page? The Sun or the Moon? Will their destiny take them to far off places or are they to forever remain in Bon Chance? While their individual card determines their circumstances, their future is not written. Their card, so to speak, is in their hands. It's up to them to determine what the future holds. ---- Bon Chance is a high-school game based in the fictional town of Bon Chance, Louisiana. RULES | TAKEN | HELD | APPLICATION New York City, and Harbour, have been mysteriously transported back 80 million years to the Cretaceous period. A period where dinosaurs rule over the land, sea, and sky. With the appearance of bees, plants and angiosperms also start to flourish and the weather has settled on temperate. It's a crucial time in Earth's natural evolutionary history. Why and how, has NYC become the newest victim of time-travel field trips gone wrong? Well no one's really sure about that. Whoever did it covered their tracks and left nothing. As if relocating a city through time wasn't impressive enough; time travel itself seems to be prohibited. On top of that, they managed to gather all the heroes, villains, and anyone they ever associated with, and plop them into the city just before the "big move." Also? They've managed to raise the dead, in the non-zombie way. It's all rather impressive but the lack of answers make it terrifying. Outside the city it's beautiful, untouched, and primitive and dangerous. Nevermind facing your arch nemesis -- there's an allosaurus more than ready to gobble both of you up for lunch. So what happens when the heroes and villains start to lose their abilities as they start to uncover secrets about their major relocation? post comment
