Forever Dawn:

His arms wrapped around me holding me against him. It felt like every nerve in my body was a live wire.
"Forever," he agreed.

I’D HAD MORE THAN MY FAIR SHARE OF NEAR-DEATH
experiences, it wasn’t something you ever really got used to.
It seemed oddly inevitable, though, facing death again,
Like I really was marked for disaster. I’d escaped time and
time again, but it kept coming back for me.
Still this time was so different from the others.
You could run from someone you feared, you could try
to fight someone you hated. All my reactions were geared
toward those kinds of killers – the monsters, the enemies.
When you love the one who was killing you, it left
you no options. How could you run, how could you fight,
when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life
was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not
give it?
If it was someone you truly loved?

Mischief Managed is an original character, contemporary Harry Potter RPG currently seeking talented writers. We are a unique community of original characters that still respect the canon laws of the Harry Potter universe. We value in-depth character development and mature writers (Mary-Sues and self-inserts will not be considered.) This is an HP board for dedicated writers and storytellers that enjoy collaborating with their fellow 'students' to create their own history. We welcome people to apply for professors, as Mischief Managed is one of the few boards that holds active classes in any and all Hogwarts subjects, but we are also looking for students of all houses and ages (especially Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs!) Mid-Life Crisis is a PB community for characters ages 35 and over. We are primarily blog-based - optional writing prompts are provided each week to spark inspiration, but journal entries on any topic are allowed at any time. There is no random community, and no AIM requirement, and we focus mainly on character development and the good old-fashioned writing aspect of RP, including threading for members who wish to participate in scenes. Your characters can live anywhere in the world, have any type of job, and any personality or face you desire, as long as they are 35 years of age or older and can write in English.
