angelgrove, a multi-fandom RP. [12 Jul 2008|03:40am] PREMISE During the summer of 1998, Dark Specter's forces, under the leadership of the princess of evil, Astronema, invaded Earth. Angel Grove, the home of various teams of Power Rangers, was their main target. After a long, drawn-out battle of good versus evil, the former triumphed and defeated the invaders. This was not, however, without sacrifice. The Power Rangers' leader and mentor, Zordon, sacrificed himself in order to expel evil throughout the galaxy. In doing so, the energy wave that was expelled after the mentor's energy tube was shattered unknowingly opened up a rift in the space-time continuum. Now, people from all corners of the universe and time are arriving in Angel Grove. The Rangers go on, blissfully unaware of the portals' cause. In the aftermath of the attacks, Angel Grove has been restored to it's former beauty. It is hard to tell that just last year, the city was in shambles. But, the serene setting of the city is about to be disrupted, as the rift opens and beings from all places and times begin to emerge...along with the remnants of dark forces that have been hiding out on the planet, Onyx. [12 Jul 2008|10:38am] IT WAS TOO LATE The world has changed drastically from that of what anyone remembers, and it is far worse than anyone could have imagined. Though for a few months the right wing evangelicals swore up and down it was the second coming of their Lord and that they had been warning of this very day for so long. For the FOH (Friends Of Humanity) this was just the outcome of the human race working too slowly to purify the world of it's messed up DNA. For those sane enough to understand what was going on, to really see the truth behind the mess of the world - it was just another day for the world to end. Another day to be a hero...except that day stretched into years. THE GAME If you miss comic based X-Men, and enjoy mature (often dark themed) game play, then this game might be exactly what you've been looking for in an X-Men RPG. We're looking for active writers with active imaginations and a willingness to work well with others. Don't think you have to be a mutant, if you have a dark side that has always wanted to rip into the mutant DNA just to see what really makes them tick, maybe you'd be more happy with the Purifiers - who seem to be very happy raiding and slaughtering when they aren't experimenting. Hexennacht is an alternate universe MWPP game set in 1985; a world where Gellert Grindelwald is now the Minister of Magic for all of Europe, and Muggleborn wizards live in fear of the Black Caps, Grindelwald's personal army, charged with keeping the Muggles and wizards alike in line. Hexennacht begins with the latest decree restricting magic allowed by Muggleborn wizards to the simplest forms of magic, while the purebloods are allowed to get away with murder. With the Death Eaters on the run, Voldemort in Azkaban with no hope of getting out, and the Order in hiding, along with the remains of their single ally, a former terrorist organization, is there any hope of restoring Europe to a land of tolerance? For nearly forty years this has never changed. Until now. After having no choice but sell the magazine due its financial difficulties, Polari has ended up as a property of a huge publishing company whose plan is to change the magazine completely. Make it the gay man’s Cosmo and FHM both collided in one. New staff has been hired to ensure that the magazine reaches it potential.
